This is so sad it's actually heartwarming. First Silver and Shadow don't know anything about the winter season, then we get shot with the whole "it was just a dream, Sonic's still miserable" reminder.

I love how this video is basically Sonic’s dream. When I first saw this, and I saw Shadow LAUGH, and actually have FUN making a snowman, the first thing that came to mind was, “ok, so they decided to make Shadow cringey now. Ok, not cool, dude.” But then since I liked the ending so much I watched again, and thought, “ok, so this is basically like a hallucination Sonic’s having, because he got captured and got put in this weird glowing rock thing and so he can’t run, therefore losing his mind. LOVE THAT!!!” Then I watched it a fourth time and everything came together. I then thought after seeing this the fifth time, “OMG I WAS KINDA RIGHT THIS IS SONIC’S DREAM THATS WHY ITS CALLED SNOWFALL DREAMS OMG!!!!!!!!!”
Poor Sonic tho. He is literally dying, and he is trying to stay positive by crying himself to sleep and then dreaming about him playing in the snow with Silver and Shadow. I feel so bad for him!
Also this is the first video that introduced me to TMOM, so congrats on such a great animatic, guys! I never would’ve known about TMOM if it weren’t for it! 💙🖤🤍

I don't think he was crying because he missed Amy, although that might have been one reason. I think the main thing was that he missed his brothers. The three of them argue a lot in the comics, but this animatic right here just showed how much the actually cared for each other.

Shadow's smile warms my soul
Can’t believe it’s been over a year since I got into TMOM. This is the very thing that got me into it. At first, I saw this animatic, and cringed because Triple S were wearing capes and acting weird. Then I rewatched it and realized that this whole thing is an entire storyline that I never knew about. I still remember the day I watched the actual dubs of the comics, laughing at Sonic’s jokes and traumatic events, adoring Silver’s preciousness and dedication/motivation to do what’s right, and adored Shadow’s backstory and the fact he has an actual personality. GiGi and everyone else who works so hard on this series brings it to life in an astounding way, and I’m so happy I managed to find out about it right on time, just before the pandemic became an actual threat in early 2020. And I’m looking back at this animatic and crying from emotion and nostalgia.
TMOM will always be in my heart, no matter what. Thank you everyone who worked/works hard on the series and I hope that you all stay healthy and have fun with the continuation of it.
(I bet ima look back at this a year later in 2022 and cringe at this comment)
Whether you cringe at it in the future or not, your comment is what made me keep watching this series (I gave up for a while after watching the first video because it also felt cringey to me).
Maybe it helps that I'm not too familiar with the source material, but as a writer, I love the character interactions in later issues/episodes and I don't regret continuing it. In fact, I'm looking forward to its next issue.
