To me the argument for South Carolina isn’t “playing better just now” it’s set up from last year. Last year FSU got left out as they weren’t the same team without their QB. South Carolina only lost to LSU because their QB missed half the game. They were romping before that. So we’ve already got precedent of injuries mattering
@@shullln And it was hard to believe how the announcers in that game were defending the refs as well making or justifying those calls. That horse collar is one of them. The problem with most fans is that there are multiple teams with horrible strength of schedules and the only resume Is a good loss that are locked in when you have at least 3 Sec teams with multiple top 20 wins. If you haven't shown the ability to stay in a game with a top 20 team how can you say your team is better than a team who has beaten multiple top 20 teams?
Bama was 2 points better than SC at home 6 weeks ago. They also lost to Vandy and Oklahoma which SC blew out. Ole Miss handedly beat SC with an injured qb and rb. But they also lost to horrible Florida and Kentucky. With such even records, quality of loss is the tie breaker which SC wins easily with 2/3 losses being by 3 points or less, all against ranked opponents.
Pre season rankings is the difference if SC would have started the year ranked higher I don’t even think we would be having this discussion. Ole miss and bama just beat bad teams bad enough to not even move the needle and yet SC just beat the number 12 team how is that not enough to jump them both alone?

Also Bama was a highly favored game and squeezed by South Carolina. Based on expectations at that time no one gave SC a chance to come close to Alabama.
FSU didn't even lose last year and how they played down the stretch 100% determined them being left out of the playoffs. The Oklahoma loss is damning in my opinion. Less than 2 weeks ago Bama was unable to score a touchdown even against a terrible Oklahoma team. The fact that they're still in playoff consideration is absurd.

The better season long resume is the best indicator and head to head only matters if all other factors are equal or too close to call. On any given day a lesser team often beats a better team so head to head is narrower. It’s the resume overall and using quality wins vs ugly losses Trump head to head.
The 12 teams that should be in no matter what happens this weekend are: Oregon Texas Penn State Notre Dame Georgia Tennessee Ohio State SMU Indiana Boise State Arizona State/Iowa State winner Miami NO 3-loss team should be in, unless you are Georgia with that record…period
Look at the bad calls in the LSU game. Sellers didn't play the 2nd half of that game. SC destroyed OK, and Vandy. Bama lost to both. Yes SC lost the head to head and I can see them putting Bama in ahead of SC.
They beat a team by 2 points at home. That’s essentially a push on a neutral field. I’m not giving it to bama based on that. Sorry. Not when SC has clearly been the better team in recent weeks and wouldn’t even be a 3 lose team with even officiating and their starter playing even a half quarter more in the LSU game
Head to head is a BS argument and I’m sick of hearing it, head to head wins haven’t mattered ALL YEAR in the CFP rankings, but now all of a sudden it should be the end all be all deciding factor?? Screw that. First of all don’t use South Carolina’s name in your title just to get views when you give them literally zero shot of making the playoffs, use Bama or Ole Miss since their brand is supposedly soooo much better. Second of all, Carolina should be a 2 loss team but got screwed out of 16 points in the garbage fire that was the LSU game by the most crooked refs ever. On top of that we haven’t lost in the last 6 weeks we played, while Alabama and Ole Miss both found ways to give games away to GARBAGE opponents. Ole Miss got overhyped early in the year by dropping 70 points on highschool teams and Bama is getting praise just because of the logo on their helmet. South Carolina is the better team as everything currently sits, and if we don’t get a shot to play then I think that’s an awful decision and a missed opportunity for the first 12 team playoff BUT, if we don’t make it, then neither should Bama or Ole Miss. Period.
@@TallDwarfFromErebor It’s funny to me all these teams screaming for Carolina not to make the playoffs, no one wants that problem. Even if you run back our 3 losses, we beat each of those teams easily now.

I’m not a ACC fan or Miami fan but they have 1 fewer loss and better losses than SEC teams! I’m not gonna try and defend the ACC being better than the SEC but neither Ole Miss or Bama lost to just Good or Great SEC teams and each have 1 more loss!
Ole Miss is the most deserving 3 loss team. All 3 losses have been within one score. We dominated UGA and SCAR. Alabama got blown out by Vandy and OU and almost gave up a 30 point lead vs UGA. We shut out SCAR and didnt let them score a TD in their own house.
I don't understand why there is a push for an argument for South Carolina. Hear me out, it's fine if you disagree, but everyone keeps saying South Carolina is "HOT" right now. Against WHO? Is my only question/challenge here. They barely beat Clemson (by 3 points) and they beat Wofford, Missouri (by 4 points), Texas A&M and Oklahoma. I didn't know having a run against those teams makes you "hot". If that's the case, then Arizona State is hot right now, they haven't lost since October and have beaten two top 25 teams....same with Iowa State must be hot as they have won 4 in a row. So how are those 3 loss teams not more deserving than South Carolina? I'm just confused the hype here. Whenever South Carolina played a team with a pulse (e.g. Bama, Ole Miss, etc) they LOST....except for Clemson. Texas A&M is proving to not be a good win.
Texas A&M not a good win? They were #1 in the SEC at the time. The only reason they are is because the lost to SC and Texas (a playoff team). Oh, and SC beat them by more than Texas did...
@@shullln Who cares where they were ranked when it was played. At the time Texas A&M's schedule was in the 100's of course they were undefeated. Also, if you pay attention, they were only #1 in the SEC because they had played 2 more SEC games than anyone else. It was semantics, not actually #1 talent wise. Hence why they got destroyed since then when they finally played real SEC teams not named Florida and Arkansas. TAMU got beat by ND AT HOME. Try again.
It's got nothing to do with your records It's the 12 best teams and you telling us the SC isn't better now than the start of season and Alabama, Ole miss feel off

Ole Miss literally curb stomping South Carolina 27-3 or 34-3 if the fumble didn’t happened at red zone. Absolutely total dominated win. Ole Miss beat South Carolina and Georgia far better than Alabama did. Ole Miss’s loss total points combined is 13. Alabama have 33. Alabama and South Carolina have a blowout loss. Ole Miss does not. So you wish all three could get in? So you are saying the three teams with tough schedules with the same record all are good enough but there just aren't enough spots? Where is your heart for the one that is actually 10-2 and made game sealing, game winning, football plays that winners make in their LSU game ON THE FIELD three different times and should make them a top five team when put with the rest of their work? Forget the fact that Sellers was at 75% and could barely make cuts coming off missing a game and a half and had no Rocket Sanders for Ole Miss. Forget about the team that you see now at full strength only lost one game by two points at Alabama. Forget about the fact that had they win LSU game their two losses would be against premier teams while both Bama and Ole Miss had stumbles against weaker teams. They had a 10-2 Tennessee lower than a 10-2 Alabama that lost to Tennessee
Crain U have never picked South Carolina in none of yo picks. Always picked against us and u really scared of what gamecocks can do in playoffs. So bias
Because he is telling the truth and u just don't like it? SC fans are ridiculous lol
South Carolina, Texas, and Notre Dame are the only teams that have four wins over ranked opponents !
So does Alabama. 😂
@@prancinfox15exactly. Bama fatigue is real!! Lol. Hi haters. Roll Tide!!!
Bama also lost to Vandy. We just shouldn't do that especially a program as bama
So does bama and bama has 4
Wrong - Texas A&M isn't ranked. Bama has more current ranked wins.
South Carolina shouldn't have to advocate for jumping in front of teams. Ranked 18th with 2 weeks left in season 9 teams in front of SC lost. If klempsun beats SMU that'll make 12 after this wkend. HEY @CFBPlayoff , stop rewarding lousey
I’m a big gamecock fan. I wish we could have played Wofford earlier in the season and had a good team in that 11th game slot. I think that could have moved SC further up the charts
12 best teams. SC gets in. Period
Dam spitting facts - head to head - matters no do overs in college football
The better season long resume is the best indicator and head to head only matters if all other factors are equal or too close to call. On any given day a lesser team often beats a better team so head to head is narrower. It’s the resume overall and using quality wins vs ugly losses Trump head to head.
We had 2 big 10 teams with the same record and they didn’t face each other. Why should one get in over the other?
The 12 teams that should be in no matter what happens this weekend are:
Oregon
Texas
Penn State
Notre Dame
Georgia
Tennessee
Ohio State
SMU
Indiana
Boise State
Arizona State/Iowa State winner
Miami
NO 3-loss team should be in, unless you are Georgia with that record…period
I like your top 12 a hell of alot more
Does anyone but me believe the TV execs are going to be on speaker explaining to the committee who should be in the playoffs or am I just too cynical.
So head to head is supposed to be the factor but the teams who beat Alabama and Ole miss
If clemson beats SMU, how do you leave out the team that beat then 1 week earlier?
The 3 Suckeastern Conference teams with 3 losses are out. 1 loss Army gets in
Head to head is a BS argument and I’m sick of hearing it, head to head wins haven’t mattered ALL YEAR in the CFP rankings, but now all of a sudden it should be the end all be all deciding factor?? Period.
Cry more😂
If South Carolina doesn’t make it should be given to Ole Miss
@@TallDwarfFromErebor It’s funny to me all these teams screaming for Carolina not to make the playoffs, no one wants that problem. Even if you run back our 3 losses, we beat each of those teams easily now.
@@unfamoustalent no you don’t😂, you may beat Bama, because they’re so inconsistent, but Ole Miss beat your ass at Colombia. You’re delusional
@@douglasbrittain7018 I’m gonna be honest, from everything I’m hearing on Twitter and RUclips, if Carolina doesn’t get it, Bama will. I don’t think that’s right, but it’s the most likely outcome.
Miami has one fewer loss and their 2 losses they do have look much better than Bama getting smoked by Oklahoma, and Kentucky beating Ole Miss! I’m not a ACC fan or Miami fan but they have 1 fewer loss and better losses than SEC teams! I’m not gonna try and defend the ACC being better than the SEC but neither Ole Miss or Bama lost to just Good or Great SEC teams and each have 1 more loss!
Carolina shouldn’t even be a question because they lost to both bama and ole miss 😂
So a two point loss at home is more important than getting smoked 1 game ago by an unranked team? Pathetic
No sir. Penn St would trade with Indiana not the SUckeyes
Why would Notre Dame get the 5 seed lmao 😂 you can’t lose to NIU and get a 5 seed
As a bama fan it doesnt matter, neither SCar nor Bama could win a natty
As a Carolina fan I have to agree. But it is nice to dream though and the way we are playing who knows.
Can't definitely can't they lost to vandy
Try again.
Where is Bosie????
Bama fan here,
Leave all 3 (Bama, SC, & Ole Miss) out. 3 losses is too much. Put Miami in and avoid the whole crybaby “should’ve been us” argument.
As an SC fan, I agree with you. The hard part is that you know the Bama, SC, & Ole Miss are probably Top 12 teams. PSU, Ohio, and IU are all frauds.
Why play a championship game if it doesn't hurt you to lose?
It's got nothing to do with your records It's the 12 best teams and you telling us the SC isn't better now than the start of season and Alabama, Ole miss feel off
So losses, who and when you lose to, don’t matter?
Im sick and tired of everyone getting locked down by this h2h thing. And tiebreaker, as if this was a conference trying to determined who legitimately and by rule of law needs to win the tiebreaker. This is the cfp committe trying to pic the best team right now why do i say right now? Because they change their rankings each week based on their current accomplishments and strength. Carolina is a better football team than bama and ole miss right now and there is no argument. 😂
Go dawgs
Ole Miss lost to one of the worst teams in the country. Bama just got blown out by a horrible OU team. Neither one is getting in it's SC or ACC #2.
Boise State 3 Bama and Ol Miss out
The loser of the Big 10 gets the 5 seed. Notre Dame is the 6
You can put Alabama on Ole Miss in over us. but it ain't right by any means. Period. 🐓🐓🐓
LSU did not actually win over SC. every body knows that. it's just super shifty for us cause we're actually 10-2 right now. Geessss!!!!😎👋🐓🐓🐓🙏🙏🐓🐓
Has to be south carolina no one wants to play them right now
How can you be this dumb on football and have your own show. Joe Biden was president so anything is possible. 😂
this is comedy
Watch lsu game
Watch that Oklahoma vs Alabama game. The eye test clearly shows they’re not a better team now than South Carolina
☘️☘️☘️
SCAR should get credit for a win over LSU
South Carolina is 10- 2 those refs have been fired for talking about the money was paid, probably can follow it back to Brian Kelly.
South Carolina lost more points at home to Ole Miss than Ole Miss have with their losses combined. That is absolutely embarrassing 🤣. Ole Miss is the best team period.
Ole miss only problem obviously is the media is not really behind them bc they earned that last playoff spot
@ who is?
But the 2nd half of the season South Carolina woke up. I think it would have been a different story with Ole Miss if it was in the last part of the season(still a close game either way )
Ole miss lost to unranked Kentucky and unranked Florida at which gamecocks blew both out
@ I agree. But between ole miss and bama they deserve it more. I don’t remember SC playing Florida this year but South Carolina would have beaten them anyway
It's going to be Bama or ole miss
They clearly missed the refs stealing the LSU game from us lmao go watch that pic six that got called back. I am knocking on the commissioners door and saying we should bein the SEC champ.
If you a really seeking truth the way the Daily Wire would you would not tackle this topic without using the perpetration of fraud that was the LSU game because that awful game and it's result is a much bigger deal now than it was when it happened. Forget about how head to head means that the team with the most respectable losses also happens to be head to head with the other two teams competing for the playoff because THEY PLAYED THEM BOTH. Forget about all of that... just look at Carolina as the 10-2 that they are.
Trash 😂😂😂
