Took me awhile but FINALLY I found a woman teacher to teach me the Bible! I hope you teach all of the Bible :) You are helping me in my walk with the Lord SOOO much! Thank you!
I am rejoicing in God's favor over all of us listening to your teaching. By far I am learning so much from the way you read and teach from the Scriptures. I thank God for you!
Bonnie, I know it's only the Lord and I'm so grateful that this is helpful to you. He is so faithful! Thank you for your sweet encouragement, dear sister. I thank God for you as well! xo
I am a new follower and telling others about your website, you truly have a gift and you are a gift! Thank you for giving me more of a thirst for God's Word it is allowing me to dig even deeper as I pause during your messages and write down key points the Holy Spirit is giving me! God's blessing to you and to your family!!!
Sister Kim, you my Sister are so awesome to me.....i love love your spirit! May God continue to pour his blessings and gifts into you! Amen! These first 2 chapters of 1 Samuel are so rich!!!!....Hannah was a woman of God who knew the Lord very imtimately, we can tell by how she took her hurts, vexation and disappointments to the Lord in prayer. She did not fight in the natural. ..she fought on the spirit in prayer and she also did what Jesus did on 1peter2:23 Which declares that when he was reviled he reviled not again; when he suffered he threatened not but committed himself to him who judgeth righteously. And the Lord had favor upon her because she chose to cling to God, to lean on him to trust him and be confident in his power, love and strength....knowing that he would hear her and answer.....
Jody, YES....she really did know the Lord intimately, and I love how she took *everything* to the Lord. I LOVE how you tied in 1 Peter 2:23.....so on point! (This is exactly what I hoped would happen with this study, that we would all engage around the text and share different insights...so good!) "....confident in his power, love, and strength"....amen! Lord, help us to maintain that same godly confidence in who You are! Jody, so thankful to you for sharing and so thankful to God for your loving encouragement. You are such a blessing. Love studying this book with you! xo

You are a Wonderful teacher. You are "The Real Deal" and it radiates all over you!!! It's that Love for Jesus!!! You make me want to CLING to Him!!! God Bless You!!!!
Thank You sis... still clinging and never letting go. so many nuggets of wisdom from chapter 2. I will go back and digest it verse by verse as my devotional tonight. More grace to you and when you quoted psalm 68:28 "Your God has commanded your strength"... I almost fell out because I stumbled upon this verse this week and I felt the power of God in that verse and I memorized it this week and shared with a sister... I love it when God is confirming His word. 😉
Oh, wow, I LOVE that we were in sync on Psalm 68:28....yes, God confirming His word! That verse is so powerful! I gain strength just thinking about that. :) "...sill clinging and never letting go..." AMEN! Blessings to you, my sis. xoxo
I'm on the bus heading to work, and I'm able to do bible study at the same time, thanks to this series! I am thankful for you and your ministry! Can't wait for CLING to be available in The Bahamas!
Thank you for this Chapter have learnt my salvation life has to praise and prayer to God in all seasons just like job worshiped God after he lost everything so in all situation s I should worship Him and trust Elohim always.
Such an anointing on you Sister ! I Love to study with you. You are not only my bible study partner, but now, You are my friend. I discern Holy Spirit all over you !! God bless you and your channel richly.
Elaine, I know it's only God and I can only praise Him that this study resonates with you. He amazes me. I cannot thank you enough for your sweet words of encouragement. God blows me away. Blessings to you for your kindness!
This study is a blessing. I’m loving it and doing it along with your James study. I plan to use these with my kids who are 11 and 13. You inspire my homeschooling and mothering as well as my spiritual walk. (You remind me that it’s one and the same.) Thank you and God bless you!
When I was reading 2nd Samuel chapter 15 and 16, I didn't understand so many things. But I accidentally spotted your series on the You tube and clicked on it and then I understood the whole passage. So I decided to start studying 1st Samuel from the start and Iam now understanding things better. Much better!.
Wonderful review of this chapter. So glad to have found your channel. The fact that Eli had time to judge Hannah however his sons were out of control was something that I didn’t notice until you pointed it out. Thanks for your perspective. On to Chapter 3!
I love that you're reading it in advance, Laverne. It's such a joy to be studying this book with you. Chapter 3 just went live, so I look forward to your insights as well!
What a lesson in chapter 2, it appears the theme continues from chapter one into this God's sovereignty. For all Eli knew about God did he forget the rules also applied to him and his sons? (rhetorical question 😁) When I think about Hannah prayer warrior comes to mind, I can definitely see her clinging. When I think about her after verse 10, I can see Hannah frolicking around, twenty pounds lighter because she left it with the Lord. I am blessed by the contrast between Eli sons and Hannah's son. v12 tells us that Eli sons didn't know the Lord but v21 tells us Samuel grew before the Lord. Then down in v26 it is very clear if it wasn't previously Samuel had favor in the Lord. ooooh I love Bible study.
But wait I just thought of something thinking of verse 12 and 21, later on the Lord calls Samuel but he thinks it Eli? Can't wait to get there. Oh maybe it's like my life God was always with me, I just didn't know it yet....ummm
Laverne, I love your rhetorical question. Exactly....did Eli forget?? Prayer warrior comes to mind for me as well with Hannah. So many verses devoted to her praying in chapters 1 and 2....amazing! And then for her son to also find favor with the Lord... I'm blessed by the clear contrasts as well. Love your thoughts and insights. So thankful you're doing the study, Laverne.
Kim Iam so happy to have come across your channel, love to do Bible study this way, its so enriching and brings so much joy..keep making more videos and cover the entire Bible..God bless you. Please help me with your email Id if you can I would love to write to you. Thanks
