- Skarbrand the painfully one dimensional only real named Bloodthirster character in the lore rampages onto the channel as our next campaign. Will he have anything to say other than skulls or blood? No but at least he's good at mashing naked green people in part 1 of a brand new Immortal Empires Campaign as Skarbrand the Exiled and the Exiles of Khorne in Total War: Warhammer 3 Shadows of Change!

Skarbrand hates going outside! Skarbrand hates going inside! Skarbrand will stand in the doorway, he hates it slightly less!
SKARBRAND NOT TALK LIKE THAT SKARBRAND HATE FLANDERIZATION!
You weren't able to settle that because of the malagor bloodground. However, even a desecrated bloodground can experience can get settled through Drawn to Destruction
Some tips for Skarbrand:
1 use the big "skulls for the skull throne" bottom up top a lot (it gives more income, more movement after battle and allows you to summon).
2. Blood hosts created by other blood hosts are weaker, so in general it's better to create them with normal armies.
3. You should be constantly fighting to get your blood letting up on your armies, it's the only way for you to boost growth.
4. Remeber you manifestations, the first one summons a small army for you to fight and you get movement from fighting (can also be used the prevent your bloodletting from dropping a level or a bit of extra battle income when needed).
5. Your ecomomy is mainly battle income/sacking/etc, your income from settlements is never going to be great, recommend going with a negative economy held up by constant battle income.
I feel like i must have missed some episodes damn, birb boy is at it again with his shenanigans i suppose
also now that I've gotten to watch the video, not really surprising the Savage Ork Big Un's ran away to be honest, magic attacks cuts through pretty much most of their defenses like a hot knife through butter and I'm saying this as an avid Wurrzag enjoyer who specs Wurrzag into All The Savage Orcs and has to consistently deal with Skarbrand a lot, blessed is Wurrzag for his ability to look at magic defenses and go "Nah, I'd win" and then gives his entire army magic attacks to make bloodletters weep
7:02 - that increased mobility actually allowed your army to reach the first settlement that same turn :D
Skarbrand has such an odd start position, he gets a cult in the chaos wastes which teleports to a bloodletter boosting landmark and it's the much more fun way to play him I find
Do remember to click the button at the centre top of the screen from time to time and offer skulls to the skull throne (i.e. sending a tithe to upper management to keep them happy).
You get summonable bloodletters for 5 turns. The enemy's artillery will not thank-you...
I remember another video talked about how it's generally good to sack a settlement for the ibcome and then raze it on the following turn. Khorne economy is basically post battle loot and sacking so it can be tricky to keep yourself afloat without doing so.
Also keep in mind the challenge of growth from your bloodletting mechanic

Random funny thing about Khorne's cults is that one of their buildings teleportrs Skar to its location so if you want to you can set up a cult in the empire and some turns later a new area to fight.

Tbh, Skarbrand probably has the most depth of character of any Khorne daemons (which admittedly, is not saying a lot).
My dude is on a redemption arc there, don't bellitle his motivations !

It's been said already by others, but if you remember to sack for income before razing or settling, and don't be afraid to operate with negative income, you'll have a lot more fun. As long as you're aggressively pushing onwards you'll not run out of cash. Skarbrand is not about building an empire, remember, he's about BLOODY SKULLS

I think with Khorne he has very twisted version of Honor, a bloody kind.
Herald of khorne and bloodreaper having attack animation of 3 swings when on foot, while bloodletters has 2 swings, that's why they are so killy

One thing I do lie about khorne is that the units in his roster have clear uses for example blood letters great against armor, chaos warriors maybe slow but definitely die less then the blood letters do
