Love that review. Do you thing Yoda mono blue is an option or Rey is just better, due to her healing ability? I worked on Yoda mono blue since the beginning of TWI and really like the card advantage he procures and the combo with « You’re my only hope ». Luke at 5 is incredible!!!
The main thing Rey does is make your early game better. Mono blue doesn’t have great turn one plays unless you have Rey to buff them. I do think Yoda is interesting though, and have tried some versions of him as well.
I played a lot of Yoda Blue. I reaaaally love the deck. But ultimately I think Rey is just more resilient against Sabine and Jango and just a better deck right now. Sadly Yoda ability is especially great against Mid range/Soft control which is already a favored matchup. It's too slow against Sabine, still loses to Palp and goes even at best against Bossk.
@ yeah I am going to test that Rey after this video. I honestly have very few probs with Jango so far. Sabine I’d say is 50/50 for me. I think Yoda’s flip is such a bomb that it can really turn a corner. My biggest fear is Bossk Blue honestly
I know some lists are running her. I think keeping Han at the 7 slot is better cause he can 1 shot something and still live where Enfys nest just gets killed on site. Bouncing is also temporary removal and has restrictions cause of the power 5 or less issue. I think that restriction kept the card from being extremely broken.
Adding to this, you have to think about what units are being played around 7 resources. The best bounce is probably a Firespray at that point and even then, they can claim initiative and replay it which hurts. There are cases where Enfys nest can steal games but I think she just falls a little short against bouncing things like Luke’s/ redemptions/ krayts and other top end that come out right around 7-9 resources. Han at least can come in and remove a Luke and not die. That seems more worth it than just bouncing for that 7 slot.
I think the current han1 yellow build is decidedly bad. Not using Enfys Nest, not taking advantage of 3P0 or Ahsoka who's great into the go-wide decks and good in the late game, the oddly placed liberated slaves, weird split between plo & cantina bouncer, the gunship (which i think is better served in the sideboard since we main falcons & we're favored into Jango). Idk. I play the deck a ton and I built it almost 15 cards different (which is a lot in this game) to great effect so far. I think maybe theres a better list out there and the current iteration is hedging on the jango matchup so hard that it loses to everything else. It could honestly be the best deck on any given day.
Very interesting video and nice dubble blue deck :)
Thanks!
Great breakdown as always, wooooo
Thank you so much!
That was the last video where I expected to see a picture of Cher ! But here we are...

is yoda/blue or yoda/yellow viable you think? or in what grouping does it fall into? unit controlish? midrange?
I love Yoda Blue. I think it’s very live in my testing
@@spencerkogut107 i've really been on Yoda Yellow for a bit. i'm going to try blue too.
@ Yellow is solid too. I have blue to just be super resilient and tool boxy

Do you think it's odd that the mono yellow isn't running 7 drop nest for the bouncing? Seems like a great card to turbo out against jango.

Nest with hot shot blaster is pretty nasty combo
@@GudoTheGameryou play both, for sure. I dont think its close or even a hard choice.
It seems reasonable but the deck does innately play six 7 drops at its core (Han and DJ).
super helpful
Glad to hear!
The Hera green part seems to be missing.
Next time!
can you add chapter markers for future videos?
I’ll try to add some in the future.
ohhhh boyyyy lets gooooo
