    The ABB ACS880 uses a new panel that differs from the previous ABB keypads. This panel is the ACS-AP-I and d uses modern technology in creating a higher visible LCD display with greater resolution. A USB adapter is also included for making connections to a PC for easier setups.

    What can I do when the drive is not displaying while my in put power is fine?

  • @timc2219
    @timc2219 4 года назад

    apparently theres a firmware update recently- newest drive shows a '5681 pu communications' error if drive booted from external 24 volt supply...worked fine on last 6 880s and dozens of 800s... got a call to ABB, just wondered if anyone else out there knew a workaround. disabled error/warning, so its just the screen blinking, just irritating... also boots to 'no run input' too

      Those are factory programmed memory modules and may need to be replaced if corrupted. Please give us a call at 800-337-1720 and ask for our ABB product manager. They will be able to tell you what to do first, ok?

      Yah that looks bad, you will definitely need a replacement. The good news is, it can be replaced. Let me forward your photos to our product manager and we can determine a replacement. However we will need you to give us your shipping and billing information at your earliest convenience, ok? Please don't post billing info here, you need to call asap.

    better include how to select id run .

    • @GalcoIndustrial
      @GalcoIndustrial  6 лет назад +1

      Ok, just go to menu 99 scroll down to 9913 and enter the desired type of ID run best suited for the application you have. Meaning,,, de-couple the motor from it's mechanical load before starting the ID run procedure. This allows the drive to do its best identification of the motor itself. However ABB realizes it is not always possible to do so in some applications and so has a "Stand-Still" ID run and Advanced Stand-Still run available. These selections still give the drive a good analysis of the motor to control it efficiently in DTC control mode. Please read the manual on this parameter carefully before starting ID run so you can get best results for your application .
