Hey guys, i've noticed alot of people commenting that they are having to do the whole mission over after killing the gatelord. so im going to upload a video later tonight showing exactly what im doing on the mission, hopefully it helps and ends the woes! Take care Av
Not to b negative or anything but this farm been out since 3 of coins came into destiny..n seeing u get grimoire score for getting dragons breath n hard light shows that ur fairly new to destiny as they were obtainable in vanilla destiny n dragons breath when dark below came out, I think u shoulda made vids since the game came out you'd probly b huge right now but seems like ur just starting the game maybe?
+Waldemar Vale make sure you go to orbit right after you kill the boss. if you wait too long the mission ends and you have to restart, but you have time while the portal is sucking stuff up. im not sure on the exact timing but id say 10-15 seconds
+ll Possessed ll HD I think its been nerfed. i havent been playing long and just happened to find it. they can still drop but i think the rate was reduced. or there may be a CD on the three of coins so wait a couple mins between kills. i had two exotics pop out of him on one kill yesterday

Every time you go to orbit, do you have to restart the whole mission, or does it just spawn you back at a checkpoint?
+Dylan Landers if you go to orbit quickly enough after you kill him it will respawn you at the checkpoint
+Avacis I left as soon as I killed him and it made me restart the whole mission
+Adam Breckenridge ive never had to restart so there is something you are doing wrong like waiting or flying somewhere else first
As soon as you kill him look for 2 secs for reward then go to orbit

Does the difficulty have to be easy or hard?

Yeah this is an old ass method, there are MUCH better methods than this and honestly, this isn't even a good way to get exotics in the slightest
