Welp, guess I was wrong about this prediction!
So I am essentially expecting announcements under the 3 banners: animations, tv, studio. Of course all this spans across phase 6. So esentially Wakanda series, Spiderman animated series, zombies series, what if 3 fr next yr. A complete phase 6 reveal both movies and tv shows, with proper release dates, titles, directors.
And perhaps a little glimpse into phase 7??? Coz Nova and Scarlett witch projects seem to be phase 7, at least Nova does.
TV and movies will definitely be covered today, I think they'll save the animated stuff for D23 in a few weeks
I think only certain tv will be covered at SDCC. Daredevil and maybe Agatha, but nothing else for tv. They will probably same majority of the tv and all of the animation for D23 which will be around August 9.

I haven’t heard anything about young avengers. Considering that an older version of Wicken, Wanda’s son, is gonna be in Agatha all along, my theory is that young avengers could be done after secret wars in phase 7, unless they announce it later on.
I think avx is too soon and should be the end of the mcu but if they scrap the kang storyline then yes i can see this happening

Welp… we did get ONE big reveal, but everything else was a little underwhelming. No phase six or literally anything besides next years movies and the Avengers movies. I’m happy we at least got Thunderbolts footage 🤷

I'm hoping we do get the rest of phase 6 announced. I hope we find out what's next after deadpool and Wolverine, I'm hoping to that we find out who the main villain now will be, I'm hoping we fine out what avengers 5 will end up being, I'm hoping we find out where they are at with Spider-Man 4, and I'm hoping for a midnight son's project announcement.

So, based off what we’ve seen this weekend, really all we need is the movie lineup. Such as if Blade is going to be part of Phase 5 or 6. I’d rather it end Phase 5 than it come after F4 in phase 6.
The movies I’d like to see throughout the rest of Phase 5-6 is:
Blade
Armor Wars
F4
Dr Strange 3
Spider-Man 4
Shang Chi 2
Xmen
Thor 5
I’d also like to see a continuation of the Cosmic story, so if they don’t do it with Thor 5’s story, then I’d like to see a movie that brings Star Lord and the Eternals story to a natural close ready for them to be used in Avengers films.
I think it would be a great idea to continue this saga into a Phase 7 that way we can get movies about Battleworld, an Xmen sequel, a Young Avengers film, Midnight Sons, with Phase 7 ending with two more Avengers films.
Also, yes Kang does need to be wrapped up in some nice neat way rather than killing him off screen. I hope he’s recasted and from there, can show up as a villain in another film in order to finally snuff him out.
I hope we get some Doctor Doom casting news.
Hopefully but I think they’ll focus on Fantastic four movie so if they bring him for a film I’d be that one
Probably a update on armor wars, wonder man, Shang chi 2, and vision quest.
The title and idea of avengers 5 and maybe a little bit of secret wars. I think they might at least announce Doctor strange 3, Thor 5, Some mutant related project and say it exists and that’s it. They might also tell us or give us a hint of what marvel will be like after secret wars and will announce some crazy stuff like a scarlet witch solo movie or the rumored Namor and Young avengers Project

Historically speaking, anyone got stats on Marvel’s accuracy and success rate of pulling off shows & movies announced at SDCC? I’m very curious. I feel like it’s maybe 50% at best, so I wonder why people even bother putting any stock into these announcements.

If they don't announce a Scarlet Witch solo movie then we can assume that Marvel is not bringing her back. There is no way that she could be in the Avengers movies without a solo movie. The problem is that you have to deal with the ramifications of what happened in MoM. Wanda would probably be crippled by the guilt over the deaths she caused in MoM. That would be an interesting story. Elizabeth Olsen has proven that she can be a leading banana in non-MCU projects rather than second banana in the MCU. Feige better realize that before they lose her. Also Feige essentially said that she was still alive. Is Kevin Feige a liar?
