    Lots of Gen 5 products have been announced, not many are actually for sale.... months and months later. Where is Sabreant ? Where is Patriots ?

    I would be careful about DRAMless SSD's, they are more affordable, they are often thinner (components only on 1x side, so more compatible with various applications) but not always their performance is that optimal. Especially when they are QLC (too), you will notice a lesser performance with the bigger files. Small(er) files are often okay. And they tend to get a wee bit warmer, so cooling (heatsinks etc) are quite important (too). And it is a known fact that a good "proper" Gen4 can blow a "cheap" Gen5 out of the water when it comes to performance. Remember Gen5 is only the interfacing but "by default" the performance per say.
