      It can be easy but the cut and fold method is very time consuming but once you get practice in they can be very stunning projects to make. (and sell)

      They are beautiful, have a look at the cake fold I did, Sharon that too is amazing. Get a second-hand large TALL book from a charity shop and do the cake too. ( road atlas books are great or a gardening book) or use small paperbacks and do a small cake for each guest table.

    Hello, how much pages Pleasanton for this vase ?

    • @AlisonRussellsCrochetChannel
      @AlisonRussellsCrochetChannel  8 лет назад

      It is best to keep folding until you are happy with the vase. I did 175 folds. It depends on the book and how thick the paper is. The thicker the page the less folds you need and if it is a book with thin pages you will need to fold more. I have done a vase with 150 folds and even one with 120 . One fold is one leaf of the book. I hope this helps you. My facebook craft group is called Craftytwunts You can find me there. xx

    Hi when do you take the cover off?

    • @AlisonRussellsCrochetChannel
      @AlisonRussellsCrochetChannel  7 лет назад

      For a full vase I take mine off at the beginning as it's easier than trying to cut it off once you have folded it.
