MH Rise: How to Hammer Monsters in 3 Minutes (Easy method with traps + earplugs)

- Just trying to show an easy consistent way to capture monsters in 3 minutes with hammer. Using earplugs and abusing traps, you can basically lock down lower tier monsters with no crazy skill required. Useful for the annoying ones that like to move around like Barioth here. Hopefully this helps someone

Pretty cool to see how you're a humane hunter now. An incredible change of pace for the one who drove Mizutsune to extinction in GU!
I keep thinking if I capture enough monsters, then maybe they will re-open the special arena. Wishful thinking maybe, but I can dream!
the problem is, what does the caravan do with said monsters, because in older games all you where doing was capturing them so that they could be auctioned off to the highest bidder for whatever they wanted
@@DESMal Ohh I never thought about what actually happened to them. I just miss my Iceborne arena quests with no other dumb monsters invading. Or the crazy hard dlc MH channel ones in GU. Hopefully in an update sometime they will add more arena stuff

I was looking for “impact crater wake up setup”, found nothing, and clicked here.
You can change orientation during the flight!! That’s awesome, thank you so very much!
Such a random thing to look for haha 😁😁. No problem! It’s a bit tricky actually on some monsters that have little parts sticking out (Mizutsune’s head comes to mind). But with a bit of practice it gets a lot easier. The extra damage compared to a regular hit is really nice
Siiiick! This is the type of content I love to see. Super helpful for sure.
as a hammer main I can say I hate slopes more then I ever hated ledges
I honestly like ledges. Can roll off them, charge up and aim where you want. Slopes are only good for Uragaan in World
Not so much a slope, but the slippery Ice from at valkana was fun!
@@sassymcmahon3131 Oh right, that one is good too! Every other slope I hate though 😁
@Ren Okamiya lol! As if impact crater wasn’t hard enough to land both hits already!
Trying to learn hammer and came across your channel. Man, your combos are wicked awesome! What switch skills do you like the best?
Spinning bludgeon, water strike, and strength stance for pretty much every fight lol. I want to try dash breaker for stuff like Diablos and Tigrex that charge a lot, maybe it could be good
Nice like everytime
Holy shit 3mins??
Your not a human,first btw
Man god knows hot much i want to play with you but my wallets says no
EDIT: after that wyvern ride that wammy hammy ground smash i heard that you call it "impact grater" deals 504 damage, pardon my enthusiasm but there's no such thing as impact grater on mhfu and mhp3rd
It’s a new attack for this game! The traps make it really easy though to lock him down so there is not a crazy amount of skill required. I could never kill him in under 3 minutes normally 😁
the new moves added to hammer in rise are
a new A combo
water strike- replaces the sideways A hit with a counter like move
Impact crater, the big move where you jump up and then slam into the ground
spinning bludgeon, a move where you pull yourself forwards spinning
and one more I forget the name of, where you just yank yourself forwards and do one big hit that does alot of stagger damage
Would love to see a final boss hammer guide... I have a lot of trouble breaking parts or feeling useful during the encounter w/ hammer
I could try! I only fought him the 1 required time to beat the game and never fought him again lol so it might be a while
wow Nice Caolan!!
earplugs are such a great skill for hammer
also for what monsters does earplugs lvl2 work?
@@joantamarit2439 small roars, so
batioth, barroth, rathian, rathalos, narga, zinogre, rajang
level 4 is for large roars like,
tigrex, diablos, basarios, khezu
i have no clue about any of the new rise or world monsters as I've never tested it with them
Thanks!
@@joantamarit2439 np man, generally most monsters are low grade earplugs, and the ones who need high grade are few and far between
@@DESMal I could figure out Tigrex because his roar hurts you, but no idea about the others!
Speedrun!
what is the different between blue and yellow charge?
Different attacks. It’s usually better to be in blue but the level 3 spinning attack in yellow can be good sometimes. And switching to yellow gives you instant level 3 charge which is very good for quickly landing a fully charged silkbind attack
Damn that was slickkkkkk 😨
Pretty cheap with all the traps lol, just wanted to show how to easily kill monsters for farming. Traps are so broken in this game with the OP silkbind attacks 😆
