Hi Mike and cheers from a reemerging visual artist in Arizona..for me it's like a Back to the Future movie, trying to reengage the new world..

Thank you! I got ripped off selling a coat on Etsy, so I would much prefer having a professional middle-man to deal with this sort of thing. Their commission is well worth the "buffer" they provide.

Thank you for all the great advice. I realise now I was too eager to contact galleries… I’m gonna take a step back from that for now and make my own website.

I’ve seen a lot of “how to approach galleries” videos and this one is easily the best. Thank you. (“Thank you” seems incomprehensibly insufficient for the quality of this video 😀.) There, an emoji fixed it. 😀

I never had time to woo a gallery. I was busy finding and closing sales myself.

Thanks for this. One query … wonder what you might advice about pseudo name? Reason I’d like to do it, is cause under my main name I’d like one style, but then like to be able to do different styles and genres that is not related. TIA

Artist don't work with galleries, you're basically working for investors (they call themselves art collectors). Start with stickers, the goal is to learn how to sell. Cut out the middleman.
