Adults can ride with children so they’re not entirely not allowed. I read somewhere that it’s to do with the long wait times for such a short ride and amount of complaints it generated.

It is obvious that you enjoyed every single minute you were within the boundaries of Universal Orlando and Islands of Adventure. What a blessing you received to be a participant for the Informer. Yes. There are changes being done within the boundaries of both themed parks and they are to keep up with the demands of those that visit the parks. Some changes I agree with and some changes I do not know, just like WDW Resort. I am not in control of those changes, only how I respond and react to them. That was a awesome Meetup. Nate have you ever stayed at a Universal Resort Hotel ? I have not, I have only stayed at Disney & never been to Universal Studios. Your taste testing for their Harry Potter drinks was very funny😀😀😀.

So why don’t they let adults ride the pterodactyl ride all the time if it is allowed for special events? I always thought it was a safety thing??

It has to do with the long wait times. They used to allow adults ride near park closing during the off season but not any more
