For everyone who doubts the 7 up. It works. I had a cold and drank some and I felt better. It works with Sierra Mist and sprite and other sodas help a little also. And it also helps with other stuff such as stomach pains

7Up also has a basis in science.

I'm armenian and one of our home remedies that every armenian uses is tea like tea and honey if your throat hurts or tea and rock candy if you are having stomach issues and it works
Vapor rub is so good it feels so good and he really said it doesn’t work I’m not even Mexican but my grandma used to put this on my brother and the next day he felt like he was Perfectly fine

My abuela and abuelo used the vapor rub and 7up on me growing up when I was sick or had really bad allergies it helped alot still use those home remedies today

half of my family is Mexican, one time I was sick and I went to visit my grandparents a while ago, when I was little, the remedies I got were vapor rub and the witchcraft it always worked

you guys are right on the money. hot soup and vicks vaporub work to make a sick person feel better. one time, when i had just moved into my first apartment, i had the flu, and my sister came by to check on me. it helped a lot to have company, and i felt better by the end of the day. by the way, is that shirt ramon is wearing with the cat above the pocket on your t-shirt website?
I am an Asian but I grew up getting babysitted by many Mexican families so I have lots of experience with Mexican culture.
The ending was so damn relatable even though I’m not Mexican, I’m Peruvian. Once I had a fever and my mom put the Virgen de Guadalupe picture near my bed and two days later I got better. She gave the Virgin all the credit 😂

Growing up in the 60s we used all of those except the soup (we had chicken noodle) and the candle.
Native Californians on my dads side, so maybe that’s where my parents got it?!

Literally seven up is really good with a cold and I have done it before and it is amazing.
I’m not sure if this is the same thing but my mother uses something called Vix I think I’m not sure if that is similar but it seems like it to me, she rubs my chest and my feet and sometimes my nose, it helps me stop coughing and I get better in the morning. I am Mexican American and she is mainly Mexican so that would make sense.
Edit: I now realize that Vix is Vaporub, never saw that part of the label lol

For me when I was sick my Hispanic parents gave me Gatorade and put alcol on my stomach and forehead
finally! some real mexican remedies lol my almama tells me to put slices of tomatoes on my thoat and onion in my socks and on the nightstand while i rest hahaha everyone else in the comments just saying that they have used vapor rub lol
