Wolves fan here. I think the O’Neil we have seen at Wolves this season is very different to the impression that Bnmouth fans have of him. We have been organised but do play decent attacking football when needed and solid and tight when it’s called for. The players love him and they look far more fired up that under Lop.
I think Gary did the best that he could with that Bournemouth squad. He seems to be a very versatile manager.
I was really worried when we bought him in but he is performing very well!

Spot on mate and I felt exactly the same when they bought him in, very happy with Gary now and they do look in my opinion a better side than the end of last season under JL.

Wolves fans here. Pretty even game 1st half and you took your chance well. Hwang makes meal out of the headbut, but defo red card. You didn’t lose the game based on referee decisions, it’s on the players. We have a keeper that makes rash decisions and unfortunately it was your turn which led to the goal. Good luck for the rest of season.

Not sure how one guy at 11.48 can say that about Gary O’Neil - he does play great football - look at how Wolves played under his leadership when Wolves beat Man City - the football Wolves play is of quality - look at Neto and Hwang - Bournemouth have no equivalent players.

I'm a Wolves fan! Apart from a couple of chances, the first half wasn't great for Wolves! Second half was much better! I thought Tommy Doyle was fantastic! Wolves scored early in the second half. After the sending off, Wolves were in control! I think Gary O'Neil had the last laugh! COYW, Always Wolves 🐺

Def a red you can't lead with your head, dems the rules. All he had to do was stand still and Hwang would have been booked (as he was) on on you go.

Worst refereeing performance of the season? Don’t be daft young man. That’s clutching at straws. Wolves should’ve be in the lead 1st half and absolutely dominated the 2nd half and definitely deserved the win

Everyone needs to hold there nerve because a win next week and we're out of bottom 3 ! Which we won't really deserve but we'll take it and move forward with renewed confidence ! Draw or lose with city away and its looking a daunting task but the players need a top atmosphere next week ! Its time bmouth fans stood up and roared there team on , its amazing were in the prem to begin

I agree with Kirk; today wasn’t on Iraola. Missing real leaders in the team and it’s showing. Neto really needs time out of the team, Radu to start against Burnley. But win next week and all of this will be forgotten!

Looks like there is growing agreement at last that Neto is a liability.
I’m not sure on the rules on recalling keepers from loan spells but if an injury to a keeper makes it work to get Travs back I am guessing Philip may volunteer to cause Neto a sore finger after that crazy pass he gave him.
If we can’t get Travs back let Radu, Plain and Randy battle it out while Neto has a break and perhaps a kitkat 😁.
The second goal was farcical. Neto’s main experience was sitting on the bench at Barca and Juve and it shows.
Respect to Gary O’Neil. At the final whistle one of his Coaches was about to come flying in the take the p#%s and GON stopped him in his tracks with a whack in the chest. A quality, respectful person.
Of course he will have loved the win but behind closed doors.
We will turn a corner soon. But Neto needs to be taken of the the squad. If his confidence isn’t shot to pieces then he is lacking insight on how poor he has become.

I wasn't overwhelmed with joy when O'Neil got the job at Wolves. One of your experts said it was a poor appointment.
It turns out that he has the respect of the players and there's a good spirit at the club again after Lopetegui and Nunes had tantrums and left us in a mess. I liked how he handled the Nunes situation and it's clear that he's the right man for the job (survival) at the right time (now).
Bournemouth have an injury crisis but it's a squad game and you don't have a very good squad. You could well be cut adrift by the time Areola gets his ideal first team pick.
I think you might survive over Sheffield United and Luton but a lot might depend on a big Everton points deduction if you're to stay up.

We made the mistake of trying to play attacking football under Lage and we were fighting relegation. Pragmatism and hitting teams on the break got us into Europe. Bournemouth need to realise that!
Gary has done really well at Wolves. Tactically and actually decent attacking play

Was keys right? Half of you won’t want to admit it but bmouth we’re better under GON, You lot need to call Iraola out, GPotter would be perfect for your squad. Also personal opinion… one of your biggest promises since wade Elliot was Siriki Dembélé. Why let him go? Top players have been let go from your club for Pennie’s. Keep the potential and grow what you have, always works. Hope you stay up

Looking at the fixtures between now and the November international break, I think Burnley at home is a must win, to keep his job during the international break. And possibly a good draw at home to Newcastle as well may be needed.
And that’s not me saying he ‘should’ go, rather I think that’s what the board/owner will conclude.

That result is down to Beto’s incompetence and he should give.up the armband immediately. And Cook’s petulance is inexcusable and put unnecessary pressure on the team at a time when they were trying to reset after conceding. Many of the team put in a respectable shift and Andoni put out a good starting lineup including giving Scott his debut and made the correct substitutions at the right time considering the position the team were in after Cook’s screw-up. The manager can only give the players the plan for the game, it is up to them to execute it without making juvenile mistakes. As for the GON wannabes on here and other fan sites, they are the same ones who were slagging him off last season. And Wolves were as boring to watch today as the Cherries were for much of last season. On a positive note, there is still 3/4 of the season to play for so no need to panic or change the progressive philosophy that ownership and manager are trying to implement. Up the 🍒

Really difficult in seeing B'mth win any game this season wiv this bunch of Cherries.
If MegaBucks Bill's intention is to have a team that's got the identity of being hard pressing, aggressive and fast. Where is it? Bill should've spent his 'bucks' on 3 or 4 players of much higher quality, instead of the 8 or 9 non-existent PL experience players that he's got, and most of 'em can't even get on the bench. It really shows that Iraola needs better players to succeed. What he has is an expensive looking 'Championship' side, which is where they're probably headed.
Also, I keep hearing and reading comments from some fans that equate the word 'pragmatic' wiv boring when used to describe the game. Please be assured, by its definition. It's a positive trait. Pragmatism can pave your way to happiness and success. Pragmatists are not dreamers, but people of action.
    Yours,
    Peter Cklamovski

Idealism has seen many a team relegated. The Bournemouth owner seems to be a bit of a fantasist and as such, spending £120m in a year has just confused everybody into thinking that's progression.
Gary O'Neil has taken over a club that has a net spend of MINUS £130m and seen 15 players leave. If ever Wolves needed a pragmatic manager it is this season.
He plays what we have left to our strengths (the front three) and has made Cunha, Neto and Hwang an effective spearhead even with Lemina, Bellegarde and Semedo missing. O'Neil is a picture of pragmatism, just as he was when keeping a poor Bournemouth squad up last season.
I'm delighted as a Wolves fan that Gary simply wasn't good enough for Bournemouth.

To Josh's points....Put your head into another players face or head - regardless of the 'force applied' it is going to be a red. There is no longer a debate about whether its a red or not - the act itself is now a red card instantly no matter the malice or jest of it. Last season Costa did the same for us and got a red. No argument. Kiefer netted twice for Wales in the break so i felt he was on for your long balls into the box. A final threat perhaps.

As a nice bloke that the manager seems,he has no experience of the premiership, if he would have joined a club in the championship it would have been a good learning curve. But his tactics are not working in fact its dire, the premiership is ruthless league and only the strong and brave survive, a change is a absolutely needed and a change of play is required, as it is its pitifully painful to watch

Foley stated that the appointment of the manager was on Hughes; giving him the out should Irola gets sacked.
However, what it should mean is that Hughes should go first or if the manager is sacked.
Hughes transfer record is poor. Hes signed two big signings, one of whom is crocked for nearly a whole season.
All Premier league clubs have far too many staff for God knows what reason. Its about time that all clubs start culling the con men who are "technical director's" and all the other job titles that are B.S
Long story cut short 🤣. Sack Hughes asap. Get a new guy in way before the January window
