No one has commented on this video in quite some time. I try to watch this video at least once a year. And I just love the band's antics, the audience interaction and Dave's exceptional performance. Feckin' brilliant, lads!! Takes me back to the 80's.
I agree. The Alarm always had a special bond with their fans, and Dave's performance of "One Step Closer" was always one of my favorite moments of an Alarm concert during this period. The current version of The Alarm will never come close to what these guys had back in the '80s.
This is amazing! Oh what I would give to have been there. I had the privilege to have seen Dave a few times at Kerry Irish Pub in New Orleans in the early 2000s. Good times! One Step Closer To Home is one of my all time favorite songs.
I was at that show, one of my friends brought the huge poppy flag that was put up at the right under the balcony. Still have great memories! Vey very nice show!
I think I saw The Alarm 3 times on their Eye of the Hurricane tour. One of the memories of Sharpy that sticks out was that he could play a root chord and hit the 7th or 8th frets with his little finger !!!!!

Bombastic
Daniel, you nailed it! One of my all time favorite bands and severely underrated.
This was my first ever gig! Went on my own at the tender age of 14. Greatest band that ever lived
Awesome performance by Sharpie! Must be such a great feeling having everyone sing along with him. The Alarm, in my opinion, the best band ever.
One of the greatest songs of all time!
didnt have a pot to piss in but i still managed 5 dates on the tour - outstanding
