    I am sorry, but I clearly see a 30 - 30 inclination. If the plan is a square, it would look like a rotated square in a 45-45, not like a rhomboid.

    This method actually gives 35×35 if u check the angles after

    You are missing a final step. Scale 1D vertically by a factor of 1.41421356 to get a perfect Plan Oblique projection.

    To be fair, if you use a protractor you can clearly see it is 35-35 at best

      I agree, although some screens are slightly distorted and so you'd have to print to hard copy to really know. But i am fairlysure that there is a step missing here as well.
