Impending Doom will always be a special band to me man. They may not be perfect people but I believe God works thru them to reach people like me. Their music has real power behind it.
Out of all the metal bands I have met, I can say without any doubt that Brook is the most down to earth and genuinely nice dude in the metal scene today.

Impending Doom is a huge reason I got into deathcore as a whole, still my favorite band of the genre, and may be the reason why my 7 string is tuned A half step down with the B tuned to G# it just sounds great
Wish you asked him more questions, don't mean to be rude or anything I'm glad to see Brooke and the gang are doing great, but info on them and their songs, maybe talk about the lyrics and the inspiration behind them. (Which is God of course, I know but still, it's nice to see him talk about it)
No worries. He had a lot of fans waiting to talk with him, pix, ect. So I decided to wait till he was all done for the interview. It was late already and i didnt want to keep him too long. Basically I asked him for a quick interview, nothing too complicated or detailed....more of a laid back feel. The interview was/is initially longer, but I chose to cut it out. He was really fun to talk to and we got off topic many times during the interview. Even after we stopped recording, we all just hung out talking about random stuff. Ill be adding a new new series/section to The Metal Kitty called "Breaking Down The Lyrics" where it will be all talk about lyrics/meaning/inspiration. Sometimes with the artist themselves, and sometimes with just other lyric writers/decoders. I have asked him if he wanted to be a guest to break down some of their new lyrics, but no reply just yet as they are still touring/doing shows and festivals/have families and work. Stay tuned 🤘
