Simply my own story about how I got on the show. I was simply a contestant in the show and I don’t have any say in the casting process.
Such a ridiculous comment, there were many different races participating, the UK is majority white which naturally means there will be more white people present.
Zara McDermott - I’m absolutely not suggesting that the casting is your responsibility... or having a go at you in any way. I’m just highlighting that for all the things that many people (including me) love about the show - the idea that it’s diverse is just mind boggling to me. Even if we put actual diversity characteristics aside and look at personalities... you can see from the feeds after - you all have a lot in common - people who like the same clubs, the same clothing, the same holiday destinations, the same lifestyles. Even from the same places (Essex and Newcastle) - many of you had met before the show which shows how similar the circles you run in are. Everyone likes love island for what it is, which is usually self aware. I was just pointing out that this observation of yours really wasn’t. No disrespect.
