As a huge SOM (and Jim Steinman) fan, I thought you and your followers might enjoy this incredible reimagined cover of "More" - produced by David J. Smith, a/k/a Scaramouche and performed by the incomparable Lauren Bradley! ruclips.net/video/gLEaIpKJlvw/видео.html

Due to the massive success of Floodland, the Sisters of Mercy cracked the mainstream here in Australia. I was so happy to see this video played on a show called SOUNDS in Sydney, Australia. Shots from the video More ended up being as part of the montage until the show ended in 1994. People would constantly ask "who is that cool, long haired dude in the opening montage." Andrew Eldtrich from English band the Sisters of Mercy was the reply. The show's host - Donnie Sutherland - god bless him, repeatedly played More even though it did not chart in the Australian TOP 40 for more than a week. The album Vision Thing was on the Australian Top 100 for a whole and naturally, lived on the Australian independent/alternative charts for 6 months.

This audio really is quite rooted isnt it. Too much hi ratio compression maybe.

Chris . . , as a band the Sisters best since 1985. Tony James on bass, Andreas Bruhn on lead guitar and Tim Brechenco on rhythm. A great line up from 1991 - 1993. They killed it live. When Tony James and Andreas Bruhn the Sisters went down the toilet . .. and in fact became laughing stocks. Grunge ruled the world and the alternative/independent scene was ruled by Ministry,,KMFDM. Nine Inch Nails, Rob Zombie and Depeche Mode. The latter outsold EVERYONE with the albums Violator and Songs of Faith and Devotion selling tens of millions.
Eldritch led the techno/industrial-grunge scene but bands like Depeche Mode and None Inch Nails took over. Eldritch's biggest problem was that he could not hold onto a line up.,
