I'm sorry ladies, but I disagree with the remake of B.A.P.S. The reason the first movie was funny and interesting was because both Halle and Natalie's (rip) real life personalities were the complete opposite of those characters. They had to become different people to make those characters work, much like Diahann Carroll did in Claudine. Meg and Cardi would be playing themselves, and it would come off silly instead of artistic. I need this new generation to come up with something new or at least innovative, and stop piggy-backing off of other people brilliance.

I think this was very strategic on Chris's part. I really believe after the Oscars, he probably made more money on his comedy shows because people were going and expecting for him to talk about The Slap. But somewhere down the line he made this deal with Netflix and he kept it all under wraps, agreeing to keep mum so he could unleash it all on that special. So he certainly did monetize that infamous Oscar moment, apparently.

Do not address me as a B***h, or N-word -- period! Chris Rock was able to capitalize off of the slap heard around the world through tours and Netflix. Quite frankly, I am glad that he took this route of financial gain, rather than to sue Will Smith for millions of dollars for assault and battery. He would have won hands-down. Now, hopefully, Chris has regurgitated his pain and indignation in the form of comedy during his tours and Netflix special, and we can all move past this unfortunate situation.

I watched the Chris Rock Netflix Special and Chris was NOT out of line. There was no lies told. Everyone did (at least the ones who spoke publicly) say that Will Smith acted like an emasculated bi*ch by his own wife (who made their escapades public). And Syleena is wrong for her comments when she said that Chris should have called Will privately. Wrong !!! You don’t offend someone and then have a problem with the response. He blasted Will and it was truthful.
