Not only a good pizza place but a great area to visit. Lots of good food in the neighborhood. Great seeing DuPont Manual Memorial Stadium in the opening. Turns 100 years old next year and is always kept up in immaculate condition.
Now, that's NYC slice with fold. We usually use pepper flakes to spice it up. That painini and calzone looks great. Shout out to Ryan with the KISS shirt. 😊
My grandfather and father were just like Barry when it came to eating a meal. Raise during the depression and years of hard times and little food. When we were at grandad's house and supper was ready no matter who was there or how many he would let everybody know, supper was ready, he said it loud and he meant now, not in five minutes. when he and my father sat down to eat a blessing was said and the eating began. Ther was no talking or just some useless chit chat. You ate everything on your plate, and I promise it was some of the best food in the world, my grandma could cook. There was always homemade biscuit or cornbread. Also, fresh garden sliced tomatoes onions and hot peppers. My grandfather would drink his coffee after it came to a boil (I don't know how he did that). Also, at my home, the guest, if any served their plates first, just a rule that I have to this day. God bless you Barry, keep on, keeping on.
Been following you for a few months now, love the reviews. Stopped in the post today for lunch, ordered the calzone and the chicken parmigiana sub. The sub was phenomenal. Will be back for this again. The calzone was good but me growing up in New York they would deep fry calzones and nothing can match this style and taste. Keep up the great work sir.
Ryan here....lifetime KISS fan! Growing up my late Uncle took me to see them 3 times, Aerosmith, Journey (no I wasn't old enough to get to see Steve Perry), among others. I actually wore that shirt in tribute to Uncle Keith!
I LOVE The Post!! Their Pizza is AMAZING. 🍕🍕 We took the family last year and had the chicken and waffles which was the Monthly Specialty Pizza and it was really good. Even my picky (EHS 😂😉) Teen liked it!
Just to let you know. My favourite videos of your show are the ones with Ryan. So get him on more. Just saying it will get more people to subscribe and watch. Good luck in the future.
Glad you got the Italian sub. Whenever I'm in town I get one. I'll put it up against any similar sandwich in the city. Believe it or not, their salads are really top notch. I'll get half a sub and a salad and I'm set for quite a while.
Hiiii my names aria , I was in one of your vedios the derby one , it's the one where u were trying food . ( I was the one who had pink braids ) thx for putting me on your youtubee!!!! And I also have ur merch on rn !!!!
Glad to see that you gave Post another try because everything looked very yum 😋. If offered I likely order a Stromboli. I prefer a tad more cheese on the pizza to get that long stretch of cheesy goodness. Better to have fresh parmigiana cheese grated and put into a jar that pre-pac cheese in plastic pouch. I would give it a try. Any salads or side dishes?
I will be honest when doing reviews I don't often order salad because in most cases a salad is boring. I could start fitting one in when I pop up though. I do try order something vegetarian if there is an item that pops out to me. Ryan
@@KeepItCoolWithSheets4 I should had stated side salad because I like to dip the crust in Italian dressing at the bottom of the salad bowl. Salad would not be my main meal.

I tried Post towards the end of last year. I found the taste somewhat similar to Goodfellas, who currently besting Spinelli's on Baxter Ave.Their presence should have lift the fire underneath hometown pizzeria whom first mastered the New York style. I may need to visit Post again. Last Saturday I ordered a supreme from Louisville Pizza King and was very surprised. I am looking forward to these top five pizza videos. Congratulations on your viewership 🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕
@@goodallscountrykitchen I enjoyed it. The tomato base reminded me of Papa John's but with their own twist. That sweet sauce. I did enjoy Pizza King from Indiana when I get it which is rare being based in Louisville. Beyond that 8th Street Pizza and Hunter Station Pizza are my next discoveries.
@@goodallscountrykitchen Arni's is one of my all time favorites. But that bridge situation has kept me away from New Albany in recent years. Their downtown is beautiful and Harvest Homecoming is a great event.
Hey Barry. Did you ever try that strawberry jam over biscuits and gravy? Another pro tip, dip your pizza crust in ranch dressing. That is how we do it out West. Give both a try. Highly recommend it!
Top notch NY Style pizza right here in the Ville with Pizza AF just across the street! Let's try to get Frank Pepe, Modern, and Sally's pizza close by also, so The Ville has it's own Wooster St equivalent - (Goss Ave.) legendary pizza destination. Just my opinion but The Post does not need to baste their calzone with the house "garlic butter!" after it's finished cooking (here's really looking at you too GoodFellas). The Post is also tied for best calzone in Louisville next to Legacy Pizza who does not baste the calzone in the "house garlic butter"...Both are great but I like Legacy better for the fact that they don't
