hi :-) - i've got the same tent. I was wondering, if you had any trouble making the floor of the tent fit? My floor just almost fit - but at the opening of the tent, I just can't make it come together, it's like 20 cm are missing. When seeing your video @1:17 it looked as if you've had the same problem?

Yes.. Same issue. Sometimes it's great, other times it's not :0/

Thanks a lot for the reply.
I've beeing writing back and forth with helsport support - measuring the floor, taking pictures - but they couldn't help - everything supposed to be in order. I'm actually about to return it, beacause i can't make it fit.
Do you tend to do anything special when you make it fit - either on purpose or by accident :-) ?

simontb I think it's all down to luck. Sometimes it works, other times it don't

Still going strong! Reproofed it for first time this summer. It’s been through some pretty harsh weather over the years. Only issue we’ve had was some leaking around the windows on the porch. But I’ve fixed that now.

@@atomicbimbler 8 Years on how has it faired? :) I am think about getting this in 2022!

@@ellomot0 I can’t believe it has been 8 years! The tent is still going strong. Not been used as much these past few years for obvious reasons, but all good.
I reproofed it last year for rust time, which fixed a bit of water ingress on the porch roof & I have replaced all the pegs with long Y stakes for the guy lines.
I personally would not bother with the inner tent unless you do a lot of winter camping., I don’t use it. I would also recommend something to attach to the outer skirt so it can be pegged out in windy weather. I forget what they are called but I got the little clamps the are for attaching to tarps.
Hope you get lots of adventures this new year 😁

simontb had to research how to reply! Not often that I can get the ground sheet to fit properly :( saw another comment about using the frontier stove. tamarackoutdoors.co.uk do a metal cowl to protect the tent from the stove flue

this one? www.tamarackoutdoors.co.uk/PBSCProduct.asp?ItmID=12002697 - looks quite simple to make - will give it a go this weekend I think :-)

I think I will keep the ground sheet, based on your experience. I thought I had a faulty one, but I just think it's sensetive to the shape of the tent - and actually we usually use that part of the tent as an area for wet boots and other stuff - folding the groundsheet away anyway...
But I would really like to learn why it doesnt close properly. I've pitched the tent a lot of time, but never made it work..

simontb that is it! Yes, it is simple, was going to make one but the cost of the material wasn't much cheaper.
