    What is that "Push Here" on the brewing unit? What comes loose when pushing there and how to put it back together?

      Hi, you need to push the red lever to the left, which unlocks the brewing unit. When replacing, you need to push the unit back into position and then press the red lever to the right to lock into position. Thanks, Mandy.

    Hi, how do you remove the ground coffee drawer? As I can tell it requires cleaning too together with the brewing unit but I cannot find the way to remove it.

      use a cleaning tablet. this is part of regular maintenance.

      @@icemanbrfc I'm using tablets regulary, removing brewing unit once a month and wash it throuly, mold is still growing

    • @icemanbrfc
      @icemanbrfc 2 года назад

      @@kvanksht don't remove the brewing unit only once a month. This is one mistake people tend to make, because the cleaning tablets are only meant to really be used when the machines request this, same with descaling if not using a filter.
      Generally, depending how often you make coffee, it's advisable to clean the brewing unit at least once a week. Mould can grow quite quickly, especially over a 30 day period, where there are residue stuck still. The cleaning tablets can only clean so much, but you need to regularly clean that brewing out, alot more than just once a month.

    I cannot remove the cover (14b) on the brewing unit. The video shows that it is removed very easily but mine does not come off and I’m too scared to force it.

    how regular I should clean the brewing unit?

    • @SiemensHomeUK
      @SiemensHomeUK  3 года назад +1

      In addition to the automatic cleaning programme, the brewing unit should be
      removed regularly for cleaning. This is entirely up to yourself. Some machines may get used a lot more frequent than others so will require cleaning more often.

      Good question. I also wonder why can't they just write "every 100 cups" or "every 4 months". If you are to clean it every 1s of January it's also "regularly".

    • @janfrater9808
      @janfrater9808 2 года назад

      @@pilkjaer I would also argue it depends on the beans. I just tried a new brand of beans and they have been terribly oily and making a mess of everything in the machine.....

      at least once a week. you don't need to clean it more than that imo

    In my machine the brewing unit gets absolutely fcked up with coffee grounds that get mouldy. How am I supposed to clean that with only water?
    Like the whole thing is literally covered with coffee grounds. Is it malfunctioning or does it just need to be cleaned more often?

      Hi, thank you for your message. We would recommend the appliance is cleaned more frequently to prevent this from happening.
      Thanks, James.
