@@MousePounder I lost everything in a timespan of four years, my health, my wealth, my siblings and my mom, gained 50 pounds, was in surgery to pretty much rebuild a complete shoulder, and may probably never shoot a single arrow again. Archery was my relief. Slowly getting back on track, streaming, singing, producing and learning a new job. It's hard. But learning how pride can cost you everything, when , you do not listen to the warnings and advices of others and a single accident snaps you out of your life, it's when you discover if you got it in you to rebuild, or if you were just "great" when it was easy.
Plus vikings had meat on their bones. They lived off beer and meats esentially. They wouldn't be just fat though they'd be more thick ? Like a powerlifter fat with muscle.
@Ansh Banka she can obsorb the enimies power and use it against them but she has a limit of how much she can obsorb before reverting from tee binary form. Except "prime" Thor did fought Thanos and lost at the beginning of Infinity War. So no, Thor would not give Thanos the Steppenwolf treatment. Thor is not as op in the MCU as DCEU Superman.
You really did change my perspective on thick Thor and I actually appreciate it now! Thank you! I can’t wait to see what happens next for the God of Thunder!
One thing is missed. In time travel for relaity stone, Thor see his mom and before getting the hammer his mother says "Eat salad only" That dialogue makes so much happy for Thor fans. Thor will no more 'fat thor'. He will come back more stronger in 'Love and Thunder'❤️
This did make me like him more. But I already settled with yet another reason - his new look resembles a viking. He's nevee looked so Norse before this movie so it was cool to see a viking God in battle. I don't want him to stay fat thor, but it was a refreshing thing to see.
Yes, with the beard and grizzled look and huge proportions, compared to being clean shaven and skinny. It reminded me of so many depictions of Thor as a merry warmaker.
The second I saw Thor in endgame I understood all of this. It deeply resonated with me as I was in excellent shape being a triathlete and injuring both knees, hip and ankle in an accident, then loosing my job, then girlfriend all a few months apart. It made me fall into a depression for several years and went from a healthy 180lbs to 350lbs. Thank you for making this video and increasing awareness in mental health.
All true! And the fact that being depressed from all the loss and all the guilt and the regrets that he had, the feeling of being unworthy is so true. That's why I got so moved (and yes, cried) when he said "I'm Still Worthy!" Because no matter how your past is and no matter how many failures / regrets you have, no matter how unmotivated you are to keep going... Those wont define your value that you can still continue and change everything and still be Worthy to Live and be loved.
I loved how even though he was depressed, and had given up on himself, he could still wield mjolner. Just goes to show that even when we are at our lowest, it doesn’t mean we aren’t worth it

With Bro Thor, marvel made a god completely realistic and relatable...
Very good points! I especially like the point about nerfing him down a bit, because op superheroes and even op villains can be big problems, Justin League was a great example.
When Thor went to Thanos’ chest, nobody knows he would do the snap and nobody knows the effect of the snap. So we can’t blame Thor for not killing Thanos by taking his head.
@@دجعبدبدبسکانزز The difference is everyone else hesitated to try and save lives. Thor hesitated in order to gloat. But you're right, each person that had an opportunity to sacrifice someone they loved in order to stop Thanos, they all failed. Thanos was the only one willing to sacrifice someone he loved to accomplish his goal. The blame fell on all of them.
Not quite, Thor knew that he was a match for Thanos, he knew exactly that he was winning the fight, so he took his sweet time making sure Thanos suffers in his last moments. But Thanos did the only thing, the right thing, to reach his goal, he willingly gave in to the chance of dying, to save half of the universe. What makes him such a great villain is the fact, that he was the hero in his own story. We could easily switch the roles and the Avengers would take the role of the bad guys dooming the universe with a hero Thanos saving the day.
The scene in Infinity War where he speaks with his friend Rabbit sharing his life experience truly shows how much he's lost in his life which he's lived over a millennia. I cried and started rooting for him since then. Such a mighty guy, brought to knees several times and still chooses to fight is more than enough inspiration. No wonder he takes it upon himself for not saving the universe, just like Odin would have done it in his place. They're basically gods who're meant to protect everything. Only way to satisfy all of us Thor fans is to see an even more powerful Thor taking upon the baddest villains all by himself. Please give it to us MCU lords

I'm maybe a little bit late, but there's one more thing you could love about Thor in Endgame. When Cap says his famous "Avengers assemble" line, Thor is the first one doing the "war-scream". It shows that noone else wants to kill Thanos more than him.
"You can still be a hero even if you're overweight" I guess an entire good meaning can be defeated by people not being able to get over comedic relief.
I related to Thor so much. When Endgame came out I was on leave from work because of severe depression. Even on rewatch I still really felt for Thor. Depression is really crippling and makes you think that you’re good for nothing. It was so touching when Thor was able to talk to his mom. If only I could also talk to my mom again too. My Mom and my grandparents who raised me all passed away in a span of just 4 years and it really took a toll on me. Thank you for the kind words. I have not given up, but it it hard. Fat thor is a good reminder that everyone makes mistakes. everyone can bounce back too. 💚
Keep going bro one day you'll get better and overcome the depression!

Me: Do you have depression Daniel?
Daniel Ezulike: Yes and I‐
Me: Nobody cares!
No hard feelings, just being honest
you never change my prespecitve
because I already love fat thor especially for his comedy
They got us in the first half, not gonna lie
Me to I already liked fat thor
bruh if fat thor was not fat the whole movie it would be very ded
Unpopular opinion: Chris Hemsworth has the potential of playing a chonkers character...
I hope that Thor loses SOME weight during love and thunder but is a little pudgy like Peter 🅱️ Parker from into the spider-verse
if thor was in civil war, vengeance wouldn't have consumed him.
Like black panther.
Nice One
6:37 Thor looks like a real viking judging from his hair and beard
Plus vikings had meat on their bones. They lived off beer and meats esentially. They wouldn't be just fat though they'd be more thick ? Like a powerlifter fat with muscle.
I like how he didn't just have a fitness montage once he gets his act together, it's a process. That was Chris's call and I respect him for it
Thor - Am the strongest Avengers
Fat Thor - Hold my beer.
????
Fat Thor would never pass off his beer
@@captainwaffles940 point.
Get me beer
Fat Thor - Get me a beer.
The scene with Thor talking to his mum was my best scene in the entire movie and made me love fat Thor even more. So relatable to me.
Title : 6 reason
Canadian lad : 5 reasons
Me : that's illegal
Marvel's biggest risk was Rodert Downey Jr. Himself as iron man but we know what it turned out
I’m going to miss a lot of characters that has ended their contract, but what i’m going to really miss so much is the king.
Some it's hulk
Some it's cap marvel
But deep down we all knoe
That its thor who is the most powerful
I dont think ive ever heard anyone say that captain marvel is the strongest. Ive never heard anyone say that they like her as well
Taylor Ruddick I like her she’s bad ass
I say it's Doctor Strange. But it will be a stalemate between Doctor Strange and Thor.
@@LimitedWesty lol
@Ansh Banka she can obsorb the enimies power and use it against them but she has a limit of how much she can obsorb before reverting from tee binary form. Also if thanos didn't punch her away with the power stone, she could've obsorbed that for limited time and use it till its completed
But thor's is a different story
He has the storm breaker (which easily overpowered all the six infinity stones)
And odin force ( bruh he's a literal god)
So I don't thi k captain marvel can defeat thor
Except if she somehow resurrects loki and blackmails thor but that won't be happening
Thor: *is very depressed and get fat*
"Fans": WTF?! FAT THOR?! IT'S UGLY!
Ikr, I saw a comment saying that fat thor is ugly and he was wasted like wtf
4:07 I agree, kevin fiege knew that PRIME THOR would give THANOS the STEPPENWOLF treatment, making THOR more even more relatable to DCEU SUPERMAN
Lucky @ another reason I respect ✊ feige he is smart
Why did you capitalise certain words
Yeah why did you
Except "prime" Thor did fought Thanos and lost at the beginning of Infinity War. So no, Thor would not give Thanos the Steppenwolf treatment. Thor is not as op in the MCU as DCEU Superman.
@@Lwiis64 thor wasn't at his prime during the beginning of infinity war, lmao , feats wise, thor claps superman
Soon as he said RDJ had retired I cried
You really did change my perspective on thick Thor and I actually appreciate it now! Thank you! I can’t wait to see what happens next for the God of Thunder!
One thing is missed.
In time travel for relaity stone, Thor see his mom and before getting the hammer his mother says "Eat salad only" That dialogue makes so much happy for Thor fans.
Thor will no more 'fat thor'.
He will come back more stronger in 'Love and Thunder'❤️
She could've said, lay down the mead tho, cuz that's a big beer belly.
@@jenneh.s649 :That was not a joke as it seems.
Same, I absolutely loved his Viking-esque look in endgame!
He looks like a real Viking God now so I’m happy AF over the new Thor.
Whenever an discussion of op character occur Josstice league : my time has come 😂😂
Lol🤣
"Thats why it became so harder for him to digest reality" I laughed because he is now fat and didn't have a problem digesting anything.
wow......
You've managed to change my perspective.
And that point about Justice League, I totally agree with it.
They literally brought back superman after killing him.
Who does that?
Ooh a little burnt but okay
and remember when Thanos snapped his fingers and Thor asked, "what have you done"? He totally forgot about the purpose of stopping Thanos.
Thats true he just wanted to revenge loki's and Heimdall's death. he completely forgot about the main reason thanos should be stopped
I loved Thor in Avengers Endgame.
Same
Same here
Me too, besides it showed Chris Hemsworth can definitely act
yeah me too
idk why people even disliked it
they probably dont know character development
@@دجعبدبدبسکانزز or it was plain stupid
My first time watching a thor movie
To see him lose all his glory
This vid changed my mind
Ok the future entrance when he gets buffed really convinced me. Before I just wanted Thor to be ripped af and beat the literal shit out of Thanos.
I see what you did at 5:35 with zooming in for 2 movies gesture. You are attentive. Big up
Thor is my favorite avenger. Excited for thor 4 where he gets back in shape and achieves his peak 🤩
Yeah... You really changed my perspective about Marvel's decision for Bro Thor. 😊😊😊
Keep watching you videos and changing my mind over and over - you are the most dedicated marvel fun I know
The second I saw Thor in endgame I understood all of this.
Fat Thor was a surprise. It suited him but annoyed me. Powered up fat thor was pleasant. You changed it to a great surprise
Ah this is why i loved MARVEL

@ ramjibu i didn't understand what u r saying
Thor in Endgame was the best part. Having gone through failure and gaining weight because of it made me laugh so hard inn theaters because I got it
Tekk Luthor yes, it’s real funny. Haha, depression rules
All true! And the fact that being depressed from all the loss and all the guilt and the regrets that he had, the feeling of being unworthy is so true.
That's why I got so moved (and yes, cried) when he said "I'm Still Worthy!"
Because no matter how your past is and no matter how many failures / regrets you have, no matter how unmotivated you are to keep going... Those wont define your value that you can still continue and change everything and still be Worthy to Live and be loved.
I loved how even though he was depressed, and had given up on himself, he could still wield mjolner. Just goes to show that even when we are at our lowest, it doesn’t mean we aren’t worth it

People who have undergone through Depression at some point of time...will definitely understand Bro-Thor...behind every Joke there's pain in it...
Older audience gets this...but younger audience like some kids and teens want cool fight scenes and are like what is this...since they have not gone through Depression they won't understand bro Thor...
With Bro Thor, marvel made a god completely realistic and relatable...
I have suffered depression and I find fat Thor dumb. It is the most absurd thing that Marvel has done to the character.
I really liked your analysis on this . It's never gets boring talking about avengers a year after endgame .
Very good points! I especially like the point about nerfing him down a bit, because op superheroes and even op villains can be big problems, Justin League was a great example.
I want to be the “Fire Stick Holder” on a movie set!
I don't like fat thor
I love him
it,s funny how he blurs it when thor cuts thanos's hand and head
Thor spent all of Infinity War preparing to get vengeance, not to stop the snap
I am getting addicted to these videos.
Taking me to another level of being a marvel lover.
Oh my god . We will miss STEVE ROGERS AND TONY STARK
We loved thor in Avengers Endgame
When Thor went to Thanos’ chest, nobody knows he would do the snap and nobody knows the effect of the snap. So we can’t blame Thor for not killing Thanos by taking his head.
It's not about that. It's that Thor took time to gloat and taunt instead of just killing him quickly.
if we see like that then all of them should be blamed
cuz everyone chose *''We don't trade lives''* whenever they had chance
But Thor can blame himself despite all that.
And this is why imperfections are so fcking perfect
I have a question for you please answer it ,
Where is mjolnir now??
When cap go back in time he will go with mjolnir, when he come back he will come with a brand new shield and give it to falcon!!!
Now where did cap leave mjolnir?? And where did he get a new shield ??
Mijonir placed at same place where it belong.... in thor dark world... To cut timeline and the parallel universe and eventually it destroyed by hella...!
Back to where thor got it from in Thor : Dark World to prevent creating alternate timelines. Imagine Thor in the Thor Dark World not finding his hammer because Thor of endgame kept it😂😂😂
@@echooo123 he will go to entri in nidavellier to get new weapon😂 that would be awesome and where did he get the new shield?
@@ashankar4470 cap? Tony gave it to him before they started the back to the future mission. Remember he took it in Civil War.
@@echooo123 dude it was broken during the fight with thanos! Remember?
I don't particularly like fat thor, but I don't mind it either
It made him more human
Mcu thor is cool, fat or not
I mean, give chris a break
He earned it
Idiot
I liked Fat Thor, despite the depression he went through, he looked like a real viking.
I love fat Thor. One of the best comedic changes to him. I also like how it fits his change after his defeat, and am greatful he didn't just become buff again when he got his hammer. I look forward to his redemption, getting fit again and overcoming his trama. :) go fat thor, you can do it!
I'm maybe a little bit late, but there's one more thing you could love about Thor in Endgame. When Cap says his famous "Avengers assemble" line, Thor is the first one doing the "war-scream". It shows that noone else wants to kill Thanos more than him.
Jane goes on a trip to find out the cause of “the blip”
"You can still be a hero even if you're overweight"
I guess an entire good meaning can be defeated by people not being able to get over comedic relief.
6:20 That’s pretty disturbing NGL 😂😂
I related to Thor so much. When Endgame came out I was on leave from work because of severe depression. Even on rewatch I still really felt for Thor. Depression is really crippling and makes you think that you’re good for nothing. It was so touching when Thor was able to talk to his mom. If only I could also talk to my mom again too. My Mom and my grandparents who raised me all passed away in a span of just 4 years and it really took a toll on me. Thor lost everything and that’s why I think Thor having depression made a lot of sense.
You have a very valid point, you have indeed changed my mind
I showed this awesome channel to my friend and he said that your channel is extremely terrible.
I miss him. *REST IN PEACE SAM.* 😌
Oh shit I didn't get this at first..💀

I can't wait to watch thor love and thunder. Much longer.
I really enjoyed fat thor. It's just something that you wouldn't expect.
I just love the way you clarify the thing so beautifully....🙆
I love the way they made him like the actual Norse god.
