Mage getting volley maul. Odd face mage. That's the number one deck I'm playing.
what I'm worried about is priest getting beasts and secret. Although with only 40 cards it's just one secret? Easy to guess.
lackluster colour splashes, Lichking getting shaman cards, Thrall getting demon hunter cards(they're siblings right wait is demon hunter and malfulrion).
You know the eleven classes can be cut down to 3 classes mage board clear and burn. Warrior board clears and weapons. Finally Hunter beast and weapons.(No spells that go face). See eleven classes down to 3 classes. No healing and no Card draw.

I've been stuck on this since yesterday and while I think stapling it to a Start of Game minion is the right way to go, these choices are... Interesting. I can see SOME good ideas but mostly I just see myself wanting to glue my eyelids shut for Roguestone: Now With 200% More Access to Things You Don't Want Them To Have and Control Warrior with Druid Armor.

I think what scares me the most is that we’ve already seen some small wild adjustments this year already and they’ve said they only want to make those once a year

I am really excited to see what new decks you come up with for the short period that these 2 cards are in standard.
I would prefer seeing new, or more refined builds, rather than what you already played in previous Genn VS Baku video, but I still enjoyed this vid nonetheless.
Also, maybe a Marin deck or 2 for standard/wild could be cool.

I 100% concur with your thoughts about hating the way hearthstone is turning goofy. The cowboy thing was bad enough, then the toyshop, and now some kind of island holiday retreat.... i for one won't be buying it.

Also, the reason everyone liked Festival of Legends is because whichever dev it was who spearheaded it loves music and worked really hard to make it feel thematic and appropriate in a very serious way, even though the tone was entirely goofy. Climactic Necrotic Explosion, despite being almost unplayable, is objectively one of the coolest cards in Hearthstone and I'm almost sure that the conspiracy theory about "someone at Blizzard really wants Rainbow DK to work" is true, and it's a group of CNE fans. And I don't blame them. If they've been trying to make Rainbow DK work for months solely so that CNE is good for one shining moment, I'm not even mad.

Justicar is quite easy to draw and doesn’t constrain you to odd cards.
After shock, the totem and 2 mana draw two are pretty strong cards, sanitize too

Yeah I think that a freaking beach party theme is a really stupid and frankly unengaging theme for an expansion. Whizbang was already a bit meh, but this is.. eh. Not for me I guess.
