The amber sun hits and reflects off the water and I feel myself appreciate every nuance of nature as it invades my senses. As the song reaches its peak, I go numb and close my eyes, only opening to peak at the sun retracting into the horizon. Around me, I see changing colors and I feel at home with the swirling tie-dye sky. It ends with the realization that I can't be here forever, and finally I pack up, taking my last glance at this world's brilliance before returning again.
I like this song as an instrumental piece but I don't think vocals are inherently bad for this kind of music. Just hard to pull off. It looks like Chon is starting to move toward including vocals in more of their songs, and I'm totally fine with that

Amazing band, I love the genre of Math rock, it has such a smooth jazzy feel, altho they are also jazz fusion, I've seen many bands in the math rock genre with a jazzy feel.
