City of Pride: Office of Transgender Initiatives

The City of San Francisco has been an ally of the multi-faceted LGBTQI+ community, the commitment to bolster and provide genuine representation at all levels was confirmed with the establishment of the Office of Transgender Initiatives. This episode highlights their mission, their work, and how it responded to provide the outreach and support of this community during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The San Francisco Office of Transgender Initiatives (OTI) is the first and only trans-led and focused city department working to advance policies, programs, and equity for transgender, gender nonconforming, and LGBTQI+ communities.
