For those that have problems one thing that I've heard is that force yourself to work at certain times of day and your body will get used to being sitting at your computer at that specific time of Damien's work and sitting at your computer at a different time of day means video games. Make sure you take a break between the two times and don't just try transitioning from one to the other.

I live in dormitory and this University is a bit different than other universities because the campus is literally spread out through out the city so the dormitory is 30 minutes walk from my faculty, and over time I figured that being in the faculty itself has the best motivation for me to study because if I'm in my work place with my laptop, which also has games and stuff to distract yourself on, I end up procrastinating. But at the faculty I feel forced to study but I'm still comfortable. It's important for everyone to find their perfect spot based on the properties of the place that both is making you forced to study and is comfortable to stay at for a while.
Or just be different and have a good memory that you remember everything from one lecture idk.

My favorite place to study is at coffee shops (tim hortons, costa and starbucks) , at the back there are those really comfy sofa type chairs, the bright sun shining in from the window beside, a table and to top it off that nice coffee smell

    PLEASE READ:
I highly recommend studying on your floor. I know it sounds weird but lay a blanket down on you carpet with all of your materials layed out in front of you.
    Pros:
    -clean floor=minimal distractions
    -flexible seating-lay down, sit, etc.
-not comfy enough to fall asleep
-plenty of space to work unlike a desk or table
    Focus tips:
    -turn off distracting electronics
    -pace yourself with music/songs
    -organize a study schedule
-drink water while you study(has soooo many benifits)
-it is a lot easier to wake up early and do homework on a well slept mind than staying up late trying to work while your half asleep, I recommend doing those assignments due at 11:30/11:59 whatever at night and everything else in the morning
This is all obviously just what I do. It doesn’t work for everyone. I am in high school and this is how I find myself being most productive. Good luck!

I actually love doing my homework at school because for example if you are stuck with a problem or whatever you go to your teacher so you can ask for help.

Realistically your study spot is COMPLEATLY personal to you. The outdors for me for instance are absolutely perfect as i have no allergies, while a home desk is a 0/10 due to my lack of foucus and self controll 😅

always depended on the week for me! sometimes i’d go to my work (which was a coffee shop actually) because i could get free coffee and have background noise, other times the library was perfect cause it was quite but i had resources to help, other times it was my desk at home because i could do the pomodoro technique, work for a bit and then clean my room!

for me personally the best place is the cafe! although my desk can help me feel productive, it can easily makes me feel suffocated to be in a room for a long period of time, while cafe is much more entertaining as i can take a break by people watching and stuff. it also keeps me motivated to see other people busy with their own laptops and books. but it’s kind of bad for my wallet so i only do it once every while lmao

The best part about exams is study leave. Idk about other countries but in Scotland the seniors(4th, 5th and 6th years) aren’t required to come into school from the 24th of April until early June, unless they have an exam, but people in 1st to 3rd year still need to school as they don’t have exams yet. The good thing is depending on when your exams are, once they are done study leave doesn’t end. My last exam was on the 17th of may and i don’t have any left so i essentially have the rest of the month off. While the younger people in high school still have to go in like normal.

Our public library has study rooms where you can actually rent for free based on a first come first serve basis. Its pretty cool, its roomy and you can dim the lights as you need. I didn't even know ahout it until i came to the library myself and asked the employees about it

Depends on the library you go to.
The one I go to has comfortable chairs, clear windows so you can take a break and look outside (at the cars on the road or the sky)
I will say it can be noisy because of the children's section which is below, but generally, I would rate it 9.6/10
