For viewers wondering about the quality of the emulated headphone out for silent playing, it's freaking awesome! I have the Studio 10 6L6 and a couple other BS and unlike most amps with headphone out that sound like 💩Blackstar got it right. No need to hook up a two notes or ox to get good quality headphone audio.
Right. I have a Bstar club40 mk2. In royal blue, and I love it. Just a bit heavy for lessons. I send the phone out to my boss Rc600 looper. And it sounds amazing. Looking for a small lessons tube amp. I think this might be the one. Looks great too.
I love these videos. I have been using Blackstar amps for about 5 years or so and have a small collection of them. Lately I've been using the clean channel with its British voice (with the green light on) on an HT20 flat out and it gives me a nice non-master volume Marshall sound. I had a Studio 10 with the 6L6 that I sold just because it was too heavy to use. And because I really favor a more British flavor I ordered one of these. I am pretty excited to get what I would consider a "signature amp" for myself. The simpler the better for me.
Nice video. The TV-10 come with a 12" Celestion Seventy Eighty, not a 10" speaker. They are the direct descendants of the Limited Edition 10th Anniversary Artist and Artisan, then the Studio 10 combos. Essentially the same combos in different guise.
I think the amp sounds really good in these demos, and this amp seems to be priced at a point to compete directly with the Blues Jr. But first, I think the over-priced Blues Jr needs to come way down, and then the Blackstar price adjusted accordingly to compete. Let's get a pricing war! Small combo tube pricing is way out of control.
Hi, 3 👍👍 BEST Things they Did >>>>>>> 6L6 power tube, !!!!! and a 12-inch speaker !!!!!!! and an Effects Loop ??? NICE 👍👍🎸🎸 and price isn't Bad .!!! 👍👍👍👍
I got an HT5 at the original launch. It's been making brilliant noises since then, both live and recording. This sounds great (despite the slight tuning issue on the guitar...).
Cool demo! I’m interesting in trying one of these out. Sounded really good. I just wish Blackstar (and some other brands) would consider putting better speakers in their amps and cabs. The best amps in the world can be undone by a poor speaker(s).
Great review as always Henning! I owned a Studio 10 6l6, wanted to buy the new TV10-A and came up with a Marshall DSL 40CR... not quiet the same but anyway, the TV10-B is 10 watts but the inchiness is 12, not ten. Just because.
So, I've got the Blackstar Artisan 10 anniversary edition which I believe is exactly the same amp,? It sounds great and I've played lots of shows with it mic'd up and it's brilliant. Cool video as always 😎✌️
Hey Henning you looking good, are you doing Glenn diet or something? Cool amp, it seems to me that with something like a tonex one or pod go could be even more versatile. There is a trick with a compressor to make a single channel seems like 2 channel amp. I saw the tip on Cyberattack channel. Just compress and drop the vol of the pedal, and each time you turn the pedal on you got a clean channel, turn it off and you get the amp to drive.
@@EytschPi42 Yeh, I was too impatient. And looks like I need to be patient a little longer to get this color at Thomann. Seems every brand is making a mini tube amp. Have heard good things about the Artist TweedTone20R 20 Watt
It’s actually a 12” speaker not 10” The name is a bit confusing but I believe 10 refers to the watts. Interesting amp though, would like to hear it with a different speaker…”Equipped with a 12" Celestion speaker…”
Here is an idea for you Henning - WHY NOT Zoom back the camera to film you AND the Amplifier you are doing a Demo ? People are interested in seeing "The Product" not so much as the RUclipsr´s face so much. Even though you have a lovely face, the viewers want to see "The Product". Come on Henning, you can do better than this.
A single, powered down to only 10 W EL34 alone make no British tone! I anyway do not hear one anywhere. Only a Blackstar typical op-amp overloaded amp with some alibi tubes. Higly overpriced too for the poor features and this over-compressed, lifeless op-amp pedal sound for me. That you need a TRS or (hard o get) TRS to mono cable for the emulated output can only be a bad joke, or applied incompetence of the technicians. Nothing for me!
That is the best shirt yet. My Wife is laughing her ass off

I can confirm this as well!

The Proximity Effect... the Secret to Tone... that's what she said! Love Blackstar!!! Oh... and I love you too, Henning! 😎🎸🤘🎶🎵
Sweet compression, sweet edge of breakup. It`s a brilliant amp!
Oh that magical guitar

That Panucci never seems to disappoint. Great little amp !!
Hooray fx loop , well done Blackstar 👍
Oh my! That sounded FRIKKIN AWESOME, and that Panucci is SICK.
Cheers H

This video sounds so good Henning. Just thought I’d let you know your work on that side of things isn’t going unnoticed!
Thank you so much!

That shirt is totally stealing the show hahaha !! Great job as usual Henning
Amp sounds great, but man, that guitar is beautiful!!
I actually gig these amps with my band.
Stick a mic infront of it and it will be as loud as you wish. 😊💁🏼♀️
I got an HT5 at the original launch. It's been making brilliant noises since then, both live and recording. This sounds great (despite the slight tuning issue on the guitar...).
You are good at Jazz guitar 👍
To be clear, it’s a 12” speaker not a 10”. 😘❤️

Agree, I hate those 70/80s. A V-Type would be a much better choice for this amp
Great tones!
TASTY tones Henn! \m/

Sounds mint bro
I typically prefer hundreds of watts for headroom but this big 10 sounds great
At home I typically run my katani in .5 watt mode 🫤
Katanases katany ?? BOSS amps
With the lack of air pressure on the moon, I'd think you needs thousands of watts to get good tone! 🤔😆😎🎸🤘🎶🎵🌛
@@MusicTherapyLazwe pressurize my habitation areas for human activity. And how cool does Noodle look wearing a ribbon! Probably for ribbon mic days 😂

That's a nice sounding amp!
I like it. Thanks for the demo.
NIce! What is the song for the unboxing? That sounds very close to Colosseum somehow.
This shirt wins. Can't stop laughing.
Hello, merci pour cette démo. une précision... ce n'est pas un HP de 10" mais de 12" . 😜

I'm seriously considering a tv10 a , cheaper than a blues jr with a headphone jack and power attenuation
EytschPi42 ROCKS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!👍👍👍👍🎸🎸🎸🎸😺😺🗽🗽🎉🎉💪💪🎖🎖🎖🎖
I have a strange craving for BIER! 🍺
Nice damo!
10 watts is not a “bedroom” amp. The same misconception people had about Vox AC10. Hopefully the master can do a good job at low volumes
If the audio of an unattended RUclips video is to be believed: You mic'ed it with Google play points. Impressive.
I'm not really getting that proximity effect on my phone,😮
But I like the way the amp sounds. 👍
Never mind the amp, where did you get the shirt? :D

According to the Blackstar website it has a 12 inch celestion speaker not a 10 inch...it looks very small though for a combo with a 12 inch speaker
It’s 12
'I don't know jazz!' Plays jazz!
👍🏻👍🏻
It's 10 watts not a 10" speaker
"I don't know jazz" proceeds to take the bassline for a walk and plays all the chords 🤨...
