Hi everyone! I recently underwent a medical emergency that necessitated surgery. However, some unexpected complications of infection resulted in so much excruciating pain, distress, blood level mishaps, and staying in the hospital for six days. During the fourth night, one of the hardest nights filled with pain (almost to the point of not being able to stand up or sit down by myself), weakness, and mental instability of wanting to give up, I heard the chorus of this song suddenly playing from my patient roommate's phone. Just hearing these words and melody gave me a sense of peace and hopefulness in such a dire moment of hurt and fear. For everyone going through something difficult (or have been going through for some time now), I hope this song also gives you that silver lining.
