Man I picked this thing up after the vape i brought with me on a trip died. I got the pro kit that takes an 18650. Way better than an internal in my opinion. Anyways ive been vaping it at 20 watts and the original coil is going on week 5 now with no leaks and no signs of burning out or building up with junk. Super impressed so far. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a vape of this style. I also ordered a rebuildable coil head. Has not arrived yet but looking forward to trying that out.
Nic salt is just the “format” of the nicotine. So you could vape 3mg (0.3% )salt nic out of this. I wouldn’t go any higher. I MUCH prefer non salt nicotine.
I just bought this 3 weeks ago. Vaping on it consistently and I love it. No issues whatsoever. I'm going to buy another! I've always been a big fan of Smok. About 90% of my mods are Smok. Have only had an issue with one mod way way long ago.

more than two years ago, i quit cigarettes and bought a Smok RPM40. i didn't knew much about vaping, just wanted to quit smoking cigarettes. RPM40 coil heads had a great flavor but i learned my lesson after only 4 days. stock coil head got burnt after like 1200 ish puffs. that isn't normal ofc i learned that after using z2 coil heads in zeus x. they will last like 5000 puffs. i bought bunch of RPM40 coil heads. all of them had leaks, had Airflow problems, spitting out e-liquid and didn't last more than 1500-2000 puffs. i bought a geekvape mod after only two weeks with RDA and RTA atomizer. i got into vaping really quickly :)) never looked back for my smok rpm40, it's collecting dust somewhere in my closet. one of my mates also had smok rpm40, his battery died after 6-7 months, the process of changing the battery was a royal pain. he also bought a mod after that.

NICK! I AM BACK! Holy cow. My community has been in a lockdown for about 3 weeks, due to covid. The internet was slow for about a week and a half due to broken fiber optic cables and I didnt want to waste my data, so I tested myself to no device or going online throughout the entire lockdown. Streaming services the only exception, but it was actually great. It was an awesome break lol. But I am back, and I have a lot to catch up on! Cheers!
I'll start with thank you and grateful for your time and all the dedication to this vape world. My experience I had the RPM 40 week after released. Same with the rcg rpm80 coils. Quality juice but not clear I could get 1,500 puffs rinse the settlement and use for another 1500+-every coil. Then mech they released the RBA more towards MTL Year from release. Pick up coils just to have on hand. Most of the time your cotton gives no warning and just collapse. This is where greed is going to get them in trouble. I run 50/50 I run under watts. I should have no problem with wicking one dry hit. Expect leaking. I set it on the nightstand got up empty. Dripping out the USB. Separated from the case. Big mess. The fun don't stop I used a couple other coils. Smok uses spring load contacts in many devices. Just the residual on contacts started sticking eventually stop making contact. Familiar with electronics and confident & exercised safety due to internal lithium battery. Vicious pattern one would seize tight. I didn't test but I think positive current reacts with juice. That's just a hypothesis. To date this story includes 3 Novo 2 & 1 RPM-40 & 1 80. I like the product but if I had to use coils it would discourage me from their product

The issue is you got the regular rpm 5 get the pro and a good quality 3000mah battery it lasts me all day at 66 watts and just pull the coil out and flush the pod wipe the coil off then put it back togather with fresh juice and it never leaks it only leaks when you just keep filling it over and over without cleaning the pod or letting it sit for days with a high pg juice use a 70/30 minimum and clean everything with each fill and it will never ever leak and screw the internal battery model get the pro and put in a big capacity battery and keep a spare in a cheap 18650 charger so if you vape a lot at max watts you always have a fresh battery life’s great with it but be warned the coils are super super hard to find because this is the first system to use the new coil design so as soon as u get the mod buy a 5 pack of coils they last about 5 days at least at max power if you use the lower power coils at 40 watts they last 10 to 16 days way longer lasting but I like the 70 watt coils they produce a much warmer richer thick juice flavor
Same as you, I'm not a big fan of the internal battery devices. I'm a bit of a sucker for user-swappable battery devices. I mean, I could have two batteries, charge both up, have one in the device, and when the one in the device runs out, I put in the second battery and continue Vaping, and the first one goes to charge (in a separate 18650 battery charger, of course)
I think this is why smok is so popular they are pretty decent if not pretty good devices but not insanely good and also not super horrible, some of the coil heads aren’t the best but majority of the time I have 1 or 2 bad lp1 coils out of like 10 but I also don’t keep them in the box i put them in a jar away from kids lol
Still searching for the perfect vape… I am a nut for auto draw, can’t be bothered to push a button, lol. I like to be able to add my own juice and change my own coils (not into pods) and I can’t stand a tight vape. I liked the first Breeze, the BP60, Drag S was nice until the auto draw failed. I like the Suorin pod mod, my current vape thanks to your vid…but could use something more durable… more options are nice. Thanks always for your vids and help.
Might be too late but that leaking coil gets juice on the internal electronics and you get an issue where it only works when plugged in. A few times a day take the pod off and clean it
I had an earlier version of the RPM and it was the MOST leaky mess I have ever owned. It really put me off the RPM's. I'm not surprised you had a leaking mess; though, I hoped that red lock would have fixed the issue. I'm sticking with my Smok Morph -- ZERO LEAKS! I don't know why Smok hasn't given up on the RPM.
My best, longest lasting vape has been the RPM 80 with internal battery. Never, NEVER leaks. But I know everyone has a different experience. But now I am going to check out the morph, thanks.
i still use the morph 2 , but i had problem with the tfv atomizer, so i use the nano 2 when i am home , outside of home i use the aegis boost and minican 2 cause they are leakproof and they dont annoy ppl much.

Love the look and the juice capacity. Avoid though, the battery life is just terrible. Lucky to get an hour vaping at 60 watts. Such a shame. Smok have finally started improving both coils and devices but the battery life anxiety is phenomenal.
I agree battery life sucks, they should have did a 3000mah like the DragS Pro since they're about the same size, at least the RPM2 has a .6 coil option
I also had bought the Smok ipx80 and the device is great, the cloud production is great, but the flavor is terrible. Also the duck bill mouth peice is also terrible. It's too airy for me.. This looks to be the changes that needed to be made. I went to a Uwell Valyrian SE from the SMOK and was blown away at how good the Uwell products are. It's been a Flovorful fun time with this SE. I won't buy another SMOK 80 watt kit again. Great review Grimm!
The rpm4 is my work mod for now and it’s not bad at all. I had to grab a work mod because I couldn’t carry my big guys around and such the guy at my local shop wanted 79 bucks for the rpm5 and I just couldn’t do it so I grabbed the 4 for 30 bucks.
Okay so I been using smok since they came out 10 yrs ago now I'm seeing more leakage after three months of usage.i don't like switching vehicles like I been driving dodge since the 70s an still will continue but the new ageis h45 by geek vape for a small device it's holding up now sorry ripp Tripp if ya see this lol red an White mod with your signature on it first thing comes to me is Pink combine two colors so basic black for me Mr Grimm I'd rather buy a product with your signature on a device have a Great week and the boost coils I have to say is smok best keep up their game 🎯
Love my RPM 5 but have had issues with it leaking in the battery to coil connection area. When I take off the top after vaping for awhile it always has 3-4 drops worth of liquid I need to clean out. Other than that I love it and it works great.

I've owned a rp40 original and rpm2 and rpm4 the lp2 coils don't leak what so ever I did end up buying a smok g-priv pro the uses lp2 coils cuz the tank was to small on my rpm4 I've honestly have never had a problem with any of my smok products every one of mine still works and btw I just ordered a rpm5 pro kit can't wait
Iv been using the smoke Nord, 2 and 4 and just recently ordered the smoke Nord 5 and I have never experienced leaking on the Nord devices... Unlike the vandy vape Kyle or the Griffin rba which was leaky as Fuk and I mean I used to have pockets full of eliquids that should be in the rba tank but decided to go for roam in my pocket instead 🤣
Wonder if Smok make Uwell coils too? Had this same problem with the Aeglos coil heads. They are fundamentally flawed because of the design, with a massive hole in the center of the coil, it’s only a matter of time before they leak out all thru the airflow.
I wish I watched this review before I bought this mod a few days ago because mine leaks non stop, it horrible! Leaked all over my bed, my shirt, my desk. Wasted 50 bucks to buy this and it’s junk!
I love my rpm 5 u have a tad bit of leakage nothing' to complain as much as you lol I have every smok product' that they have made I like the 6.5 ml pod I'd like to see something like 10 ml pod or even 15 ml pod they have disposables that have 17 ml cap but I'm not to big on disposables only cause I can't see the juice level don't know what's in the juice you get a chance do a review on the this new juice I found neat looking bottle looks like a bullet the fill port is just the right size to fill any pod or tank up it's called riot squad I've been vaping the tropical fury could be little bit more Sweet on flavor but what caught my eye was it's shaped like a bullet an the fill port is amazing great video these new rpm 3 coils for me have been kicking ass for the last two months yes two months have a great day or week an keep them videos going green Indiana waving
Been using salt nic for along time wanted to drop my nic levels back to 3-6 so I picked one of these up and man the flavor just isn't there for me compared to my nord 4 leather... hoping when I try the .24 coil its better flavor because the .15 isn't doing it for me same juice as I've used in my salt nic devices for 2-3 years but not in freebase 6mg so I know its not that.
I have a Smok RPM 5 but the charging port is messed up and I believe the battery is about dead. I was wondering if you can replace the battery. I know you can for the RPM 5 pro but what about the regular RPM 5 with the built-in battery? It would be awesome if you could replace it with a 18650. Any ideas or suggestions anyone? I have this vape and it leaks juice everywhere on top of the battery every time I take a hit. Do you know how to fix this? Everything is brand new and I just purchased it today.
Ive had a few Bad experiences with smok mods like the procolour 225watt for example i could be vaping at let say 30 watts an then it would be in my jacket pocket an then be at 225 an id watched it go up to 225 a few time sitting on my desk
I had morph the battery door broke Had a g priv the 510 broke I have a rpm it’s still works rpm2 coils are ok still burn easy I have nord coil and rpm coil adapter for bb they both suck lol Junk imo
i bought smok nord, the first one, it really dissapointed me. the coil literally no life. i leave it on the shelf, the battery swell by itself even not using.
Guys DON'T GET THIS. I just bought it and it sucks at refilling you can't put ejuice in it with out it coming out the top there will be bubbles in the tank and you will be refilling it every second also you can't see how much juice is in there. This is a shit device wish I didn't buy. If you get it you'll definitely run into the same problems as me. You just can't get a proper refill. This sucks...

I've been using the Smok Nord 4 as my backup for a while and I got the RPM5 kit as an upgrade and I loved it, thanks for the review!

i just picked up the pro with external battery a week ago, great so far, but now smok just released a RPM 85 and a RPM 100!
My smok rpm 5 leaks I haven’t been able to fill it all the way up because of the leaking through the bottom.

I’m using the smok scar p-3 and kept going back to it and it’s my all day use vape now instead of my big bulky box mods

Got the pro version and battery life is no issue for me. Vaped for 12 hours and my battery is still at 80%.

Wonder if Smok make Uwell coils too? Had this same problem with the Aeglos coil heads. They are fundamentally flawed because of the design, with a massive hole in the center of the coil, it’s only a matter of time before they leak out all thru the airflow.

The leaking coils is the biggest downfall of the Smok line up.
I wish I watched this review before I bought this mod a few days ago because mine leaks non stop, it horrible! Leaked all over my bed, my shirt, my desk. Wasted 50 bucks to buy this and it’s junk!

I love my rpm 5 u have a tad bit of leakage nothing' to complain as much as you lol I have every smok product' that they have made I like the 6.5 ml pod I'd like to see something like 10 ml pod or even 15 ml pod they have disposables that have 17 ml cap but I'm not to big on disposables only cause I can't see the juice level don't know what's in the juice you get a chance do a review on the this new juice I found neat looking bottle looks like a bullet the fill port is just the right size to fill any pod or tank up it's called riot squad I've been vaping the tropical fury could be little bit more Sweet on flavor but what caught my eye was it's shaped like a bullet an the fill port is amazing great video these new rpm 3 coils for me have been kicking ass for the last two months yes two months have a great day or week an keep them videos going green Indiana waving

Tried new tanks , coils and still it leaks all over . O-ring tolerance on coils are too small needs to be 0.002” larger
Been using salt nic for along time wanted to drop my nic levels back to 3-6 so I picked one of these up and man the flavor just isn't there for me compared to my nord 4 leather... hoping when I try the .24 coil its better flavor because the .15 isn't doing it for me same juice as I've used in my salt nic devices for 2-3 years but not in freebase 6mg so I know its not that.

I have a Smok RPM 5 but the charging port is messed up and I believe the battery is about dead. I was wondering if you can replace the battery. I know you can for the RPM 5 pro but what about the regular RPM 5 with the built-in battery? It would be awesome if you could replace it with a 18650. Any ideas or suggestions anyone? Id really appreciate it. Thanks
I have this vape and it leaks juice everywhere on top of the battery every time I take a hit. Do you know how to fix this? Everything is brand new and I just purchased it today.

Ive had a few Bad experiences with smok mods like the procolour 225watt for example i could be vaping at let say 30 watts an then it would be in my jacket pocket an then be at 225 an id watched it go up to 225 a few time sitting on my desk

i bought smok nord, the first one, it really dissapointed me. the coil literally no life. i leave it on the shelf, the battery swell by itself even not using.

Guys DON'T GET THIS. I just bought it and it sucks at refilling you can't put ejuice in it with out it coming out the top there will be bubbles in the tank and you will be refilling it every second also you can't see how much juice is in there. This is a shit device wish I didn't buy. If you get it you'll definitely run into the same problems as me. You just can't get a proper refill. This sucks...
