The irony of the Microsoft + Google creation of AR headsets is, their hardware is always way ahead of its time to the point where they do R&D for Apple. Apple takes the work, turns it into an ecosystem, then it all gets released to the masses. Now as for the big-ass table, that could've totally turned into a futuristic Holodeck.

I remember reading somewhere that Bill Gates was trying to sell the idea of a keyboard-less tablet to IBM back in the 90s but he failed because nobody believed anyone would want a portable PC without a keyboard. But then the iPad rocket sold some years later. I guess maybe MS is just too far ahead of time that people are never ready for their visionary ideas. 😅
Timing really has been a bitch for for Microsoft. But that too is part of the equation for a successful product launch to the masses. Have you forgotten about windows xp tablet edition? I wanted one of those motion computing m1400 tablets they used on Stargate Atlantis. They looked so cool and futuristic. It even had a fingerprint reader back in 2004. The concept was great but the tech wasn't there yet. The cpu power, the battery life, mechanical drives plus those things started at 2000 usd. That's 3250 usd in today's money.
Microsoft’s Big Add table isn’t that bad either, least you can see through and control with your eyes, comes with a battery attached at the back of the set so you don’t have to carry it around. Basically everything the Vision Pro does
It is better. If I did not need a software development team to create software for me to use with it, I would be considering it even if the windows don't sit exactly still without an in-depth understanding of game programming.
Microsoft's reaction to the Apple Vision Pro showcases the healthy competition in the tech industry. It's fascinating to see how different companies approach similar concepts and innovate in their own ways😍
Capability angle, I feel Hololens got their hardware much better. Forcing windows 8 tiles on it ruined it. Latest Windows for ARM UI could look much better. I hope hololens team is still well funded.
Microsoft: 😂... $3,500? If that isn't the most expensive VR headset in the world, and it doesn't appeal to business customers because it doesn't have a keyboard.
I wouldn't mind having such a thing as my table in the living room near the couch and TV. A control hub for the home ofc with a swipe towards the TV function to switch the video output to the TV

But the Hololens was also inspired by Google Glass?
i just realized, damn the price difference, Microsoft couldn't recover from that
As a HoloLens developer, I approve this message [)-)
Microsoft's reaction to the Apple Vision Pro showcases the healthy competition in the tech industry. It's fascinating to see how different companies approach similar concepts and innovate in their own ways😍
I cannot even type on a keyboard, what the heck does vr expect to get out of me with that crap lol 😆
Capability angle, I feel Hololens got their hardware much better. Forcing windows 8 tiles on it ruined it. Latest Windows for ARM UI could look much better. I hope hololens team is still well funded.
Apple "Our vision pro has eye tracking, hand tracking and its revolutionary that you never seen before"
Microsoft with Hololens decade ago "🗿"
The Hololense 2 was like $3,700.
I really wanted one. But like the Vision Pro. I can't justify that price
Which Sam Tucker are you today?
The one from...
...Samsung, Apple or Microsoft?
3D minesweeper 😂😂😂
Thank goodness Microvision is behind the Holo Lens 2. Hopefully 3 will have more commerical success.
I did not expect steamed clams.
apple always better. Still they learn from your mistakes. and deliver.
Hysterical
I actually liked the Microsoft VR Headset waaaaaayy better.
no honorable mention for Oculus (before being destroyed by Facebook)
Is that a colander? 😂
overpricing achievment unlocked
Thank you
Completely different devices, but let's compare them anyway. lol
Check mate! Than ending was also hilarious!
I think Windows started too quickly when people weren't ready. but it's ridiculous that people think Apple was the first to make it
That's crazy how Microsoft failed so hard no one even brings it up until this video
3:00 Atleast Microsoft used a handsome dude rather than the uglyGirl Apple hired
Stop body shaming
I think the 40° field of view wasn’t enough for people
Its ok. All you need is mkbhd and mrwhoosethsimp to tell you that the headset is worth it or something hahah
They may have sold out, but most of them will be returned in the 14 day refund policy 😂😂😂
Ferris Bueler didn't enjoy seeing Edward Rooney in the commercial.
Microsoft: 😂... $3,500? If that isn't the most expensive VR headset in the world, and it doesn't appeal to business customers because it doesn't have a keyboard.
Can’t wait for valve (or linux) reacts to Apple vision pro
Linux is not company
@@antonioytm i know
It's 2024 and I still want Microsoft's "Big Ass Table" SKU.
I wouldn't mind having such a thing as my table in the living room near the couch and TV. A control hub for the home ofc with a swipe towards the TV function to switch the video output to the TV
