that moment. that moment when your listening to a song for the first time, and all you can do is smile and say 'i found another'. thank you milo greene
Not sure what it is about this song- it makes me feel such a huge range of emotions. Nostalgia, sadness, yet hope and warmth. Maybe it's the calm guitars, or the constant harmonies. Amazing.
I totally agree not exactly what is either but it's like you read my thoughts emotions are there the same I also feel the need to repeat this song I really like it well said
still listening in 2024; thank u guy for getting me thru a tough time growing up, and for actually replying to a depressed teenage me on insta and sending kind words. Just truly great people
Under the autumn tree The chair where you would swing A yard so full of leaves Hum the song that comforts me A man that resembles me Watching his young lady sleep Now I'm off to dream It's the only ease that comforts me Is this my old shape, my mind is away, How long have you been gone The cold winter aged the soft of your face And I can't move on Market morning sun Fish from an early hunt I wait but you're gone Mind tells the heart to linger on Is this my old shape, my mind is away, How long have you been gone The cold winter aged the soft of your face And I can't move on Linger on Linger on I can't move on
I found this song as a junior in high school eleven years ago. There’s not a time I could forget this song. Through age & experiencing the losses of life, it resonates with me even more now. Nothing else has caught the wistful, wrenched yearning for what once was in the face of what you desperately never wanted
They played an amazing show last night, and they were indeed headlining. They played this song second to last and it was so incredible and still so moving. Thank you Milo Greene for bringing us such beautiful music!!
Just saw this group perform this evening as the opener for The Civil Wars. Milo Greene has an awesome sound...look forward to seeing them make it big. Oh...John Paul and Joy have their voices back and gave an exceptional concert in Washignton, DC.
Just seen these guys last night in concert with The Civil Wars in Decatur GA. and they were AMAZING!!!! I'm still in shock at how great they were. Everyone in the band was super nice too, and a couple of friends and me were able to talk with them for a while. Can't wait to see them again!
Actually was lucky enough to meet Dawson when I saw them with Civil Wars in GA and their spirits are just as incredible as their music. Wish them nothing but the best. So so SOOO good.
@@randomguy-hc7pv It's not that I dont. Over the past couple years, I have gotten completely out of music. I don't even compose my own anymore. Even Covid has taken a lot of joy out of the things I use to enjoy. I do meditations. I have very little time to enjoy the things I use to enjoy. It's just where I am at this time in my life.
There's always someone who has to dislike only because someone specifically said not to or points out that there aren't any dislikes...this song is too great to be truly disliked
They did spectacular in NYC Thursday night! Funny people, very nice and polite, and they sold their own merch like champs after they opened. The drummer is the man hands down, he played a mean set and he got them all to sign my Tour Exclusive album. Great time at Town Hall, thanks guys!
Saw them in Montreal last night and they just blew my mind ! They were so awesome ! I did buy the cd which is super rad but I was kind of bummed out when I realized there was only 3 tracks...but it's so worth it !!
I looked this band up and watched a few videos because I have tickets to see The Civil Wars in New York. I got goosebumps! Please get better soon John Paul White so that my musical world can be rocked by these two PHENOMENAL sets of performers. I was already excited for my concert but now that day can't come soon enough.
I wanted to see Bahamas so I checked out the headliner, Milo Greene, and was so very excited I did so. I saw them on Sunday in Minneapolis and their harmonies were flawless. I've found a new favorite!
Went to see the civil wars this past wednesday in mpls (which happened to be on my birthday) and i was introduced to my new favorite band, these guys are AMAZING!!! best birthday present ever!!!!!
Love your guys' style. First heard one of your song during an episode of Supernatural, and I just had to look up who it was. Absolutely fell in love with you guys from that point on. So many emotions in all your music.
I was watching I.d. theft the movie and heard you guys! I grad the phone shazaam you and I am hooked of the song. Im a black guy and this is the sh**!!!!
Saw them Wednesday opening for The Civil Wars. This song moved me to tears, and the cover of Sufjan Steven's "Chicago" was simply incredible....hopefully next time I see them they will be headlining! :)
@thecoldmusicbox yes, i saw Milo Greene open for TCW at the historic Fillmore in San Francisco a few months ago.. one of the first openers where the audience was totally into the show before the main act ;)
@Heeresbergfuhrer Yup I saw them in Montreal last night. Both were phenomenal. I'm so upset I didn't buy Milo Greene's album at the show!!! I want your music!

It's the most important part. He adds so much soul its disarming
When I heard this on "fun size" I had so many emotions and I just cried
I don't know how many times I've listened to this song on repeat. Splendid.
