Can someone share light on what exactly is happening between Config-Sever and RabbitMQ? There is a two-way communication happening, yet to what end?

I want help , Regarding "Spring Cloud Kubernetes Configuration Watcher" I want to run code after editing configmap . where i need to put that code or what is hook provided by spring . Any idea ?? ......................... I know /refresh and RefreshRemoteApplicationEvent got called to notify spring application .
