Asian paints is one of the most admired and liked stocks by any retail investor.. It's below par performance is indeed heartbreaking.. In my view, more pain is on the way since the overall economy appears to be on a slow down trajectory.. It's too early to average I feel..
Good video I am a long term investor in Asian paints since 1982.. Last few years have been bad Whatever it does, the share will be 9:19 passed on to the next generation
Very balanced analysis. I agree I will not hit every ball, rather wait a ball that can I leverage or another bowler. I have exited after some profit, I will see if it gives a loose ball with lower PE of offers in future otherwise I will move on taking away the learning you have presented. This also teaches us when to exit.
Dear Rahul, You have calculated the intrinsic value based on historical earning. I just want to understand whether current price does not justified if intrinsic value calculate on future earning. I have become confused because it is recommended in stock select. Please share your view
Hi Rahul, Asian paint is home name but i guess like other indian buiseness focus was not on R&D but efficiency in delivery. U go to Shop he will mix 2 color in machine and give u paint. The end product quality differs in each outlet. Companies need to spend on R&D to provide quality at reasonable price.
I think it’s a great buy. Have seen such cycles even with not that blue chips companies like hero moto, ITC, etc. Fingers crossed. Plus India needs phenomenal quantities of paint. It trades at a premium due to its quality of earnings.
It will acquire smaller companies as it has cash in its balance sheet and retain it's market share... Asian paint is a aspirational premium brand. Berger always had better products than the competitors but Asian paint always ruled the market. Consumer psychology and pulse never change😂😂😂
Thanks Rahul for this Video. Those who want margin of safety should wait at least until the P/E goes below 40 is my view. Can you please do a similar check on PIDILITE & HAVELLS which are trading at 70 plus PE? Will they be de-rated in the near future?
For my home i used vedic paint ( made of cow dung and cow urine)instead of chemical paint . It is excellent. If this vedic paint is marketted well anl chemical paints companies will have bleak future.
Asian paints was wealth creator during its good to great stage But now the journey is from great to good where most wealth is eroded Stay away from it you have many other options
