i’d say you can but, mabye wait till your older or have adult supervision. Resin involves math and it can melt things and be dangerous. It is also expensive more so in larger things, takes time and if your impataint you can hurt yourself.
It also has to do with weather or not the person can afford the electric one/ have space for one. They can get pretty pricey for the industrial ones if you're making lots of pieces to sell; the belt sander I was looking at in home depot is almost 700 and there's one for 1100 which I think is insanity

something that i think is a lot like resin but is safer is acrylic pours, they’re a little messy but great if you watch some videos on it.
