Yes, I had that problem in the past as well. The problem for me at the time (I think) was that the line was too thick. However... I have since moved on and use K40 Whisperer instead of LaserDRW and it works SO MUCH BETTER :) I should make a new video.
I work on a 40w co2 plotter, I use a DRW laser. I load a project from inkscape (wmf), for example an openwork bubble, and cut it without any problems. And when the project contains several identical bubbles, the laser cuts with errors (the cutting lines are shifted). I suspect this may be a problem with sending data to the plotter. help
Is there a way to change the power setting from the program, mine is grayed out at 75%? Is this normal and how do you change the setting if you go from engraving to cutting? thanks for any help. Great video.

HI, How do I get the software to engrave in the position I want in the machine. For example, today I had a piece of timber 200mm x 100mm. I placed a piece of text in the middle of the piece on the screen but when I placed the timber in the engraver, it engraved the text in the bottom right corner of the timber. Any suggestions?

what a horrible explaination. people will be absolutely fucking confused when this guy explains the diffrence between engraving cutting and marking. because he just says the same thing 3 times. "it will only fire where there is a line" the diffrence is. engraving moves back and forth left to right over the ENTIRE layout. and then only turn on where there is black. cutting is like vector cutting. the laser will be on continuously and it will follow the shape. (like cutting a piece out) the laser will turn off when it moves from shape to shape though. and marking is like engraving. but it will not move over the entrire layout. it will move back and forth over a black area and it will try minimise the time the laser is off or moving over white.

I don't think you can, but idk. I just manually control the power on the laser cutter itself.
mine keeps saying this function needs USB-Key support, i have looked at the key but its all in chinese and nothing being loaded onto laptop?
Waggys Cakes & Cupcakes the USB thumb drive needs to be plugged into the computer for it to communicate with the laser. Hope this helps.
