Great opening. Reminds me of great openings in the 70's & 80's in Western Victoria Australia. The banter , humour was great to see. Aussie & Kiwi shooting parties are out of the same playbook. Good stuff fella's.
Brothers this ones gold. Frigging awesome to hear the old man do a karakia in te reo maori and pakeha. It really shows your understanding, maturity and respect for where you are, what you are doing and what is most important. I truly salute you gentlemen. Mahia te mahi
They are great. A little bit annoying if they run on brush as they pick up that noise but apart from that they are great and when there is this much shooting going on you really need them.
Absolutely amazed with you guys starting your day with a Karakia even using abit of Māori here n there in your conversations is good to see and hear, you maybe be laughing and stuff but it’s good to see you guys are trying. Good stuff 👆🏻
Love it dude. Small note - gotta get some movement in that spread. Will absolutely change the game. Jerk string, splasher, squirter… anything. If you watch real ducks on the water they are chasing, dipping down for food, splashing around … easiest to get them to commit. Much love from San Francisco, CA. Welcome to come hunt with us anytime!
Glad you enjoyed the vid Bob. We’ve got a jerk string out both sides of the blind just didn’t capture them very well in the video. Too busy shooting to film everything😂
Haha tilly lives like a queen on opening weekend. She gets twice her normal feed plus everyone feeds her whenever they are eating because she’s right there and being a good dog. It’s a Labrador dream
Good vid, next season when you’ve got them circling do a decending cadence (mid volume, getting quieter and deeper each quack) works for me any way, especially when you’ve got those ducks that just keep circling.
Just the semi auto rifles. We only had one and it wasn’t very good so they can have it. Waste of time and money taking guns from everyone because of a few nut jobs.

Thanks Luke, that’s half the fun of opening weekend for us
Just one question for yous how do you’d find the ear muffs and are they any good for blocking out shots but still able to hear conversations in ?

Your camera panning is really too fast.. Please slow down your panning, Thanks :)
