Elk near Clam Lake, Wisconsin

The warning lights were blinking on Highway 77 near Clam Lake, WI, indicating a collared elk was close by. We actually turned around after seeing some deer and what ended up being a large tan rock behind them. But by turning around, we spotted this gal along side the road. Very neat to see elk in northwest WI! The lights are blinking almost every time we travel through, but this is the first time we've actually gotten to see an elk.
