With that many pies you should consider PXE boot from the network, it makes updating the software easy, you save the cost and time of managing hundreds of micro sd cards
Awesome thanks for the tip I have to look into it I'm unfamiliar with it but my nephew's been helping me and he has something similar to that where there's a mother and every time they start up they check for the files.
Holy molly padthai, that's a lot of Orange Pi 🤯 You are welcome anytime on my VRSC mining pool even for just 24h lol 🔥🚀 Have a great week ahead and keep on mining 💪🏽
You're right it's not cheap it was about 8K to build it but compared to a chia set up or GPU mining it's not that bad. In fact it's cheap compared to its profitability. I can also see why people don't understand how long it's gonna take to Roi but I'm personally thinking it's going to be less than a year.
For an example this setup cost 8K and can make about $250 a month before power And the Chia set 26K and makes around $200 a month. They should both use about the same amount of power. Just like with Chia I expect the market conditions to change and to be more beneficial as we get closer or further into the bull market but Verus has an edge with the merge mining where you can simultaneously mine 22 chains Without the use of any more power.
There's another factor to keep in mind as well the network is 50% proof of of stake and 50% proof of work. So your mining rewards are now compounding as you're staking throughout the next year to help with your ROI. The 22 chainz that you will be merge mining you can also stake their coins.
And this, good sir, is why I have to wait many weeks for the OPi 5that I ordered
Awesome content! Keep up the good work

the onlything im worried about is fail rate i wish u the best manage those temp well and , mini nvme maybe the way 2 go since micro sd tends to fail

good gawwd
hi
Welcome
How power does 1 Orange Pi 5 consume in 24 hours?
1 orange pi 5 pulls 8.5W at the wall.
This definitely requires a very large amount of capital, and it will take several years to pay it back

The RocketPi
Jesus hahahaha. That is a huge pi cluster. Does this use CPU or NPU?
They have both actually, it has 750 Tops AI computing power as a rig.
Greetings from Romania! Wath you wish to work with them? tx!
If I understand your question we're going to be mining Verus and you could use them for AI.
