Still watching, but had to pop in to say…I’m on my 2nd marriage. Between the two of us, we have 5 “kids”. Nothing warms my heart more to see them having fun together and chatting up a storm. So…when you mentioned all of your kids playing together and having a blast, I feel ya! Show them respectful relationships and they will feel the love and continue to respect each other. Great job mama and dad!

I had flippers as parents. It was fine but I hated moving over and over again!!! It can be traumatic.

I always buy them when I find them at thrift stores at a good price because I’m able to sell them on Etsy pretty quickly.

I don't know of any place to go read about them. Once in a while they will share something on videos and that is how I've learned anything.

That same beautiful desktop duck tray is listed on etsy for 239.00 but another has him for $28.00. Again, some of this stuff is worth what you can get for them. But this guy is amazing, and I think you will do very well within. I would have picked him up as well without question. Mid Century is big as you know, and he is from like the 70's. Y'all are sure making me miss home with this bit of videos. I'm originally from Clarksville TN and I visit home I will drive because I go to the junk shops (as they call them) and buy items to bring back to Oklahoma to sell. I do very well doing that as I typically can get some very good prices on things at the junk shops not the vintage places, lol. The cattails are Homco, I think. I didn't see them u close but that's what they remind me of for sure.
Those sellers up there were all so nixe and friendly! Would love to drive thru KY one day.

You guys should rent a big box truck, wrap those shelves and roll in out.
Exactly what I was thinking as well. I worked at Walmart for 30 years and did set ups for them and that’s how we moved our shelves with merchandise on them we would shrink wrap the shelf and move the entire shelf from one side of the store to another it is so much easier like that than taking everything thing off of it Kayla & Matt.

Garage sales are getting out of hand. I recently went to one where the seller had tons of beautiful J Crew, Madewell, Frame, and Ann Taylor pieces. Most of the items were $30-50 each and the Frame jeans were $150. I nearly fell over. And this was all in her driveway, at a “garage sale”. Garage sales used to be so much better :(

Our volunteer fire department in Ohio I ran on did yard sales often, the money went to help with gear for the department. We usually had a fish fry as well that brought in alot of money for the department.

Our local volunteer fire station here near Paris, TX has a building they have a yard sale weekly to support the station. I get some great deals there and money goes to a great cause. I'll be up y'alls way in November for my brothers wedding in Richmond.

Phoenix is actually feminine! My youngest daughters name is Phoenix when we found out she wasn't a boy! I always thought it was masculine but it actually refers to the Phoenix as being feminine in the Bible. A dragon is masculine. And yes they were in fact Phoenixs!
