Is there a few colors that we should wear while fishing so we blend in and don’t spook a fish. And how well can fish see things like braid and fluorocarbon.

This is the kind of thing I'll end up watching at least a dozen times... I'm a firm believer in the effects that daylight duration have on a largemouth bass, especially in the pre-spawn. It was a key factor in my approach to fishing for trophy largemouth when I lived up north in Washington State. Now that I'm in Texas, and we don't get the big swing of an additional 3-4 minutes of daylight per day, I'm curious about how these fish are influenced in their behaviors.

Good stuff! I have definitely seen fish especially largemouth bass be depleted out of a good (tournament winning spot) after being taken to weigh in. I started taking them back to the area after I weigh them in. Over the years I really hurt myself not taking the time to put them back! Its the last thing you want to do after a long day put the pay off is a higher % of winning in the area next time!!

Edwin I really enjoyed these interviews of Sexton, he’s such a wealth of knowledge. I wished I would’ve asked a question for this video: Can an angler damage the mouth of a bass by simply holding it by it’s lip? There’s always guys who complain about pics of anglers holding bass up where the body isn’t supported saying “you can break the jaw of the bass and it will die”. Curious.

According to the biologists over in Japan garlic was the naturally occurring scent bass they tested were the most attracted to. In my experience they're right- I use JJ's dippin' dye and I really don't care which biologist tries to convince me it doesn't work- they're wrong, period. I've seen it proven to many times- JJs works. Is it the color or the scent- don't know and don't care- it works. I've seen more than one instance where if you didn't put it on your plastic you weren't getting bit- and I'difference

I read in a book by Homer Circle that bass don’t like the amino acids from humans (just as Mark said). It also said that a substance in human saliva called “ptyalin” neutralizes amino acid so that spitting on a lure (without tobacco) actually help remove human scent. Do Mark or you agree or know if this is true? Lots of people think it helps to spit on their bait.
(I’m going to check to see if scent cover spray for hunting contains this stuff.)

Very Good Video Edwin, I have a question for Mark and You in the next opportunity and I think it will be controversial : For the last 9 months I've fishing every day, true every single day (Miami Florida ), and 3 months ago one of my lines break off ( braid ) and I didn't have more fluorocarbon leader, so I continue with braid only, some days clear water, some days not so clear and there was no difference whatsoever, still catching at the same rate, So my question is : Is really the fluorocarbon or monofilament leader helps ? Thank you.

What is the relationship between fresh water muscles and bass. When is it that the muscles start attracting the bass to dump eggs into the bass' mouth.
