In the final words, there is the mentioning of Poland.
Poland is investing heavily in defense right now, and it is a big country.
I live in a small country; Denmark.
I would not have a personal problem with my state investing in defense on the level, per capita, as what Poland is investing at present time.
Really: Jolly good show. I genuinely feel that I got updated.
    Peace through victory, for Ukraine!

Very serious words from Macron, pretty scary. But I'm also glad someone finally hints at a mind game with Putin. So far, it's been the Kremlin getting into our heads. Let them now rack their brains as to whether we would actually send troops to Ukraine or not.

@@robertwilkinson8421 That's unmitigated horsehockey. Trump has said Putin can do whatever he wants in Ukraine. He also wanted to pull the US out of NATO. The attempt to pull US troops out of Europe in the waning days of his administration puts the Truth to the Lie that he was only trying to strengthen NATO. Trump is teetering on the abyss of irrelevance and he's taking the GOP with him.

Putin isn't losing sleep over Macron's empty threats to send the Foreign Legion to Ukraine. The French can dispatch approximately 7700 battle-ready troops, not one of them with any combat experience outside of policing French colonies in Africa. They'd be deliberately targeted and killed within weeks of getting there and Macron would be facing an insurrection at home that would be the end of him.

so serious, so any comments?: The Russian Aerospace Forces launched a strike with a hypersonic Kinzhal missile at the Yavorovsky training ground in western Ukraine. At least 300 people were killed, including personnel from NATO countries. It is noted that the evacuation of the wounded is actively underway in Poland.
Since the start of the war, this training ground has been a hub for large troop movements for extensive deployment and training several times since it is so close to the Polish border, and each time the Russian army launched surprise attacks on it.
