The barrage also doesn't do stamina break which is quite the tradeoff for taking almost an entire stamina. Also the counter dmg taken are quite punishing but unsure it's dmg taken are similar to other counter styles. Dash spammer gonna have a hard one against this style since the dash nerf
Idk I’ve played both with and against it in ranked and can safely say that in the 20k range the barrage more often then not ends out getting me caught losing 10%, or even if I do land it I have no way to stop them from pushing in and whaling into me. The jab speed is nice but a lack of a extra counter bonus on the m2 or m1 (put it one or the other) means it can’t do a whole lot against blocks since the m2 comes from the same side. The barrage is relatively easy do dodge since it has no snap aim and is easy to see coming from its indicator. Id say it’s high b-mid a depending on what rank you are

The barrage is a high risk high reward move. Sometimes you deal great damage or weaken the opponent's block, but most of the times you get punished for landing and missing it, and considering you have no stamina after using barrage, you cannot back dash, allowing your opponent to punish you.
Me and another person tested the style. The person had shotgun i had counter. From what we gathered, you can dodge away from the shotgun if you just move to the left or right. Then, when it's charging dash away, you won't be hit by itif the style ur using has a good dash like trickster ippo and hands low. When i tested the counter dmg it took 1/8 of her health that was just an m1 with a heavy counter it did 1/3 of her health the first time but it got reduced when she got low. So basically m2 countering shotgun is like an ult, deals more dmg the higher the health. We found nothing special after that. It just has really good well-rounded stats with a good dash, but it's very, VERY weak to styles with counter multipliers, like counter
