I got my akita to follow , sit , lay, stay while he was only 6 weeks .. they are intensely intelligent when they are very very young

I love how he went from telling that visitor to go away to complete indifference. Like I'm not gonna bite ya, but I also ain't gonna love on ya. Basically I'm tolerating you LOL...Love this breed.

You might want to edit the video title as it currently says Prince is a 6 month old Siberian Husky, When he's an Akita.
Keep the video's coming as there they interesting to watch & its nice to see the before and after transformation of the dog.
    Great work.

will i able to handle this breed? i did not have access to a mid sized protection breed. i just want a loyal protector who is eager to please. basic commands is all i ask. this puppy will be two months by the time i get it. i did the homework. this is a akc registered breeder.

@@937dboy awesome! Yes they are super sensitive and don't respond well to rough corrections. What color is he? I'll get my pup mid October. He is black with a white blaze on his chest, one white sock and white toes on the other 3. I'm super excited. This will be my second Akita after being without pets for 7 years :-)

I’ve been trying to figure out what my next dog will be. I really wanted an Akita but from what I hear on the Akita fb page it seemed like they are super stubborn and my main concern was how well it’d do with recall and walking off leash and on leash as well. This video may have just convinced me to go ahead and get the Akita. My other considerations are Rottweiler and German Shepherd.

From what I've heard about akitas, I don't think they're stubborn, they just don't do things they consider meaningless like tricks and otherthings

How this works do u take it for some time to your home and train it and after some time you give it back to the owner and trained with him or its split on a sessions

Hi There! For this particular training, it was a 2 a week Board and Train, where the dog stays for the duration of training. At the end, there is a turnover where owners are shown how to give commands. We also offer various lesson packages too.

I have a male Akita that looks so much like Prince, his behavior is similar and could really use some training from someone like you that knows this breed.
There is no one in my area that trains Akita’s so I’m feeling lost with the help I need with him.
The breeder I purchased my Akita from drove 4 hours one way to bring my fur baby to me. The breeder of my Akita no longer breeds and has moved to NC and I live in WI so he’s unable to help me with training as well.
If anyone knows of a trainer near the Madison/ Milwaukee WI area please let me know.
Here is my e mail brits 0710 at g mail dot com.
    Ty.
