I love the way you ‘fixed’ the pages with that beautiful red paper, so glad you are gutting them! 🙂 And I prefer the way you used the castle, too! I have been to WDW about 40 times, starting in high school, (live a few hours away) the last time was with my grandson for his 6th birthday. I understand your hubby doesn’t like to wait in line, you might want to try the Universal Orlando parks. Some of the rides have awesome decor ‘while you wait’ like Hagrid’s, and Gringott’s Bank. We’re waiting for the new park opening 2025, Epic Universe! 😊

To get the wavy cut to work, I'd take a piece of your striped paper at say, 3x12", cut the wave once then separate the pieces 1-2", then use that as the top and bottom for one page; then repeat with another piece for page two. Or only cut the wave from the spotted paper and maybe ink the edges. But your fix of the red borders tied your pages together perfectly 😁

Good ideas. Thanks for commenting! I obviously don’t use the wavy trimmer enough to remember how to measure.

The trick for getting the wavey cuts to line up is to position each paper the same when you go to cut. That is, center the paper every time, or if you butt the paper to the top do it that way for each paper. Voila!

Thank you! I admit I don’t use that wavy trimmer enough to remember how to line everything up 😜

We used to go to Disney a lot when our kids were young. Then, I would go with some girlfriends to the food and wine events in the 2010s. My daughter and I were just talking tonight about how expensive it has gotten. I don’t know if I’ll go again any time soon, even though we only live about 40 minutes away.
I like how your pages turned out.

Yes, the cost is CRAZY! I’d love to take my granddaughter when she’s a little older….

I love the wavy border; yet, I would have treated the dotted red as a top layer just like a straight cut border. I would have layered it on top of a black wave that was just a bit wider than the red dotted paper. Also, to get the middle waves to meet together by cutting 2 layers at the same time when the two papers facing each other, then when they are opened up (like butterfly wings) they will meet in the middle perfectly. I love the red frame, yet I probably would have just made a 1" thin border in the middle on both the left and right to cover up that the middles didn't meet. However, I like the way you did it better.

Lots of helpful advice! Thank you! I don’t use the wavy nearly enough-practice makes better 😉

I've only been to Disney World one time, in 1984! I am like your husband in that I don't like lines and most of the rides I couldn't go on because I was 5 months pregnant.

Yeah, if you don’t like rides, it’s not a lot of fun!!

The trimmer is 1/2” longer than our paper and each grid line is 1/4”. So if you line you paper 1/4” down from the top you automatically leave 1/4} at the bottom. It your waste piece, then count your grid lines to get you depth. 4 grid lines equals 1”. Hope this is helpful. 🙂❤

That’s great! We’ll see if I remember it next time I use that wavy trimmer! Thanks!

A t- square would help you line up the pictures.

Yes, it would. I see lots of scrappers use them. I eyeball things more often than not.

Where can you find the "miniature" one I see a lot of scrapbookers using?

I really don’t know where to get them. I haven’t used one.

What is the blue on your wavy trimmer

On the grid lines? It’s acrylic paint that I put on there and then wiped off so I could see the lines.
