I bought one at $149 from Walmart. I currently have a Roomba S9+ and a J7+ (both of which I love). But, I've got this one in my family room just keeping the rug down here clean. It just works and really well. It def needs a bit more maintenance than my J7+ and my S9+ (which rarely needs to be cleaned). It also more easily looses contact with the charging base (when I empty the bin). Suction is very good, (not S9+ level, but that is okay). I also like that with the Lidar it can navigate in the dark. I schedule it to run very early in the morning. I have gotten *very* used to the object avoidance of the J7+. I've been using vacuum robots for 15+ years so its 2nd nature to keep things off the floor for the robot to do its work. With the J7+ you don't have to worry about it. So, I'd recommend the Wyze if you are new to the vacuum robot world as starter robot to see if you are willing to do the work (clear the floor of things that it likes to eat, clean the robot, empty the bin, etc). But you might just stay with it. It's good enough.
I went ahead and bought one of these from Walmart for $149 for my son. You can't beat that price for a LIDAR vacuum. Also, the Walmart version has the latest firmware with the extra features.
Had been considering a robot vacuum, but the good ones always seemed to be really expensive. For only $150 on this, I feel like you can't go wrong. Went ahead and ordered one, thanks for the heads up!
How has it held up for you?
Works amazingly! Replaced my ilife a9 and I love the new features.
You can't beat the price.
I bought this at Walmart last week. It’s stuck on an older firmware that I don’t think supports multi floor, but it works great and at this price I gladly picked up a 2nd for my other floor level.
Don’t think - just get it.
I can add a second floor to mine
@@scaryifliteral what firmware version does yours have? I originally found this on Slickdeals and there were many comments about older firmware. Btw great job on this one. Liked and subbed
You can update the firmware with it's app. Mine updated 2 times already. It asks you to update when there is an update.
Yeah, I got mines at eBay and I love it so far headed about three days.
We've had a couple iRobot vacs that were old and stupid. We recently got a shark AI with lidar and had the same experience as you. So much better than the old tech. I noticed the Wyze at Walmart today and was curious about its quality. Looks like it is pretty decent. I may get this for my son. Thanks for the review.
Deebot today is way way more advance than the one you own. It can maps using lidar, camera, and AI. Scheduled cleaning. Mops. Auto clean the dust bin. Auto wash and dry the mop and many many more advance feature. Heck it even has its own voice assistant. But it also quadruple in the price
Fort $150? lol
I just bought a used one for $15, you're saying the "clicking" sound is normal? What is it?
Great vacuum! Problem Wyze does not sell replacement batteries! If your out of warranty and your battery goes south your robot will be a door stop!
I've seen it said that you can get replacements online at AliExpress.
Out of stock on Walmart. How does this compare to the Rove RG572 which also has LiDAR, and is currently at the same price as the Wyze?
Just grabbed on on clearance for 99 today. Almost bought 2.
Wow!
Hmm for $150 do I get this Wyze vacuum or the Roomba 960? 🤔
8:16 just curious, how are you using a mouse with your tablet?
I'm using an app called phone link to stream my Z Fold to my PC.
Can you use LIDAR without WIFI?? Im able to download the app but I just don't have WIFI
It needs Wi-Fi to be operational. It's not connected to the internet it has no way to receive commands to do anything.
If only mine would connect to my network. 😐
Just wondering if these run into walls at all? thanks
I don't think I've ever seen it hit a wall
@@scaryifliteral thank you for the quick response!
Wonder why it’s 239 on the Wyze app ????
No clue, the WalMart deal was crazy
Sorry 293 on the Wyze app…. How y’all find it for 150???????
Been looking at these, how are they with animal hair?
I have an Australian Shepard and I clean the brush out every few runs or so.
Are you saying that the problems that were there 2 years ago have now been fixed?
can the battery be replaced? They say you can’t buy a new one if the original one is dead.
I don't know what issues you're talking about and I didn't cover replace in the battery. Mine is still going strong is really all I can tell you.
@@scaryifliteral here guy tells about problems
