The entire island is without power and prolific flooding continues as Fiona moves north. Meteorologist Pat Cavlin is tracking the storm's path through Puerto Rico. It's expected to move through the Atlantic and stay away from the continental U.S.

You are a fantastic weatherman - thank you for this detailed explanation. I lived and worked on Puerto Rico just before Maria - and I lived on St Thomas during Irma and Maria. Very sad and alarming that such a serious storm would come through just 5 years later....

Thank you for emphasizing the significance of the damage Fiona did due to the catastrophic flooding among other factors. A lot of people focus on wind speed and while that definitely affects the damage the storm causes it's not the only factor.

They've maintained that the Storm would go North since it was 500 miles out in the open ocean. I don't know if I believe it yet. I know these guys use models and previously events to help explain this, and I am totally willing to be wrong. However I see the storm sticking closer to Puerto Rico and potentially clipping Florida. Just a feeling.
This storm is clearly goes to North and doen't even touch US mainland. All spaghetti models pointed out to the north.

@@fckmaga people cry out to God and pray in the midst of chaos, look at the comments in all these videos. Human nature tend to practice their faith during these times. This is mentioned in the Bible Romans 12:12 Rejoice in Hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. So he’s not angry, we just are shown that we have no control, Mother Nature is unpredictable and God is in control in the end.

There’s underground water and unpredictable ecological landscape, so they’ll be under constant maintenance and repairs. Not a good idea at all.

@@henrymahone4926 got you that makes sense, I think mostly because their is mainland support. I also believe the terrain is very different on the island, I could be wrong, but if you ever gone, it’s always raining and not a lot of places have cement or controlled waterways. Could be a hazard issue.

Most of the island won't receive too much concerning rain or wind, but the whole Eastern side of the island will be getting some flooding. Blessings and hoping for positive outcomes for all affected.
He just said no. The worse part of the storm is passing in the center on the Mona canal while the dirty side will be in the open Atlantic. Praise God🙏🏼❤️. They will still recieve about 4-6 in of rain in the East and Northeast coasts.
