The reason you can't get your head around it is because God told us a different story, his word is inside your heart. God created us with the choice to listen or ignore him. Unfortunately alot of people have teamed up with evil to teach children that the world is billions of years old and they we came from monkeys. God explained in his word that he create everything in six days and rested the seventh day. All of the "scientific evidence" these people use is the same stuff you can see yourself everyday. Our earth layer mostly consist of sediment layers formed during the world wide flood of Noah's time, it also killed most of the dinosaurs, people hunted and captured the "dragons" for years after the flood. I am not here to argue or debate I'm only trying to help you get your head around something that you know in your heart. Hope you have a wonderful day and actually do some research if you question anything I said.
I have sometimes wondered what it was like on earth the day the asteroid hit 65 million years ago. This may be as close to knowing as we'll get. I actually feel a bit sad for the dinosaurs even though it happened so long ago.
You can watch footage of meteors hitting the earth in modern times too to see what a small fraction of the impact is like. The noise and force from even a 60-foot meteor miles away is terrifying. Can't imagine something the size of Manhattan. When they say it was enough to shatter their eardrums and burn their eyes, I don't doubt it.

It’s because we all have our own time, this extinction is about to happen since human will start their time. All of the things here in this world will have their start and their end.
I like how they talked about the small animals that was here for a while, how before the big dinosaurs. While out also hunting on the Red River I came across a flat kind of rock with two bumps on it that looked pretty neat but I didn't realize what it was. I was talking to a geologist friend and he looked at it and mentioned those were fossilized eggs and upon better inspection you can tell they were eggs and they had little cracks in them. It might have been a small fossil but it was big in a surprise that no telling how long that been here on Earth.
Fossilized eggs? How quaint. The small animals you speak of were just a stepping stone for the true rulers of the earth, the dinosaurs. They were the ones who left their mark, not some puny little creatures that couldn't even hatch their own eggs properly. And as for your little rock, it's just a reminder of the insignificance of those who came before. The dinosaurs were the true masters of the earth, and nothing can change that.
I used to wonder why it was so hard to find dinosaur fossils fully in tact but now it makes sense with them being blown away and incinerated. It's so sad. Archeologists will typically find a bunch of random bones all over the place from different dinosaurs.
I remember, being a small child, maybe 4-6 years old, not sure... and I was looking at this book of dinosaurs, it had such great illustrations, it made the dinosaurs look so alive, I distinctly remember a specific image, of dinosaurs swimming in the sea, the scene had such scary yet wondrous feel to it. It's etched in my mind forever... It's so incredible how things affect, or the impact it has in the mind of an innocent child trying to make sense of the world it lives in. I'm now 57 years old, and the pages of that book still reside there, deep in the crevices of my brain... I wish I could see that book again, see if it truly was as scary as my mind remembers it... :) I wonder what the title of it was...

They were small and covered with feathers that kept them warm. They were able to scavenge and had a wide varied diet. So when you look up in the sky or see a bird in your garden or practically anywhere as they have become very successful and cornered nearly everywhere on this planet in their many forms, remember, you're looking at a dinosaur.

Utterly fascinating and terrifying! I could never get my head around the extinction of the dinosaurs. I did not realise how the asteroid would have triggered enormous natural disasters that made the planet uninhabitable. It really demonstrates just how fortunate we are to be alive!
We're only alive because of this cataclysmic event as well, we'll all return to the stars soon enough.

Not all the dinosaurs died out as stated in this video.
Birds are descendants of a small theropod dinosaur.
These dinosaurs survived because they were able to adapt to the fast changing conditions.

The kicker is,at any given moment,we could experience our last day too.
Thanks for the content!
Great Video. We need more of this on RUclips. Too much of the content is junk.
